It has been awhile since I have seen one of these SD9043MAC's in action. On May 6, 2023, CP 3747 leads a southbound slot train as it heads for BC for reloading.
The 3747 is an ex-UP unit that, as you can see, hasn't been sent for a proper repaint. Who knows if it ever will.
Power: CP 3747 (EMD SD9043MAC) - CP 6302 (EMD SD60-3)
Its been awhile since I last uploaded a photo but I'll try to be more active. It's been a lot of work in school. I wish you all a fantastic weekend :)
Feel free to follow me on instagram, @Naeim.karimi.

Been messin' around with this for awhile. The main photo is from this past October when Kim and I were going down fairly often to the Fourth of July Campground checking on the colors of the hardwoods. We loved the glistening of the tall grasses. The moon goes back to 2011. And the hot air balloons go back to last year also, but in May. I only have photos of one white balloon!
The black and white converting took place in Lr for each component. Then things were brought together in Ps. Lots of little things done with masking and sliding opacities.
Then back in Lr for split toning. Then back into Ps for adding a bit of noise/grain to the sky to eliminate a tiny bit of banding that had occurred. And now here!
I hope everyone has been having a stupendous sliders sunday!
For awhile now, I have been a great admirer of a certain person who posts on a fashion blog that I visit. He always does the most amazing things..deceptively simple, wondrous combinations of clothing and hair, and the Mesh head..perfection!
I would list his name and flickr, to share the glory of his self styled..um..Style..with everyone, but like Wayne and Garth said..We are not Worthy.
Instead, I tried, with miserable success, to recreate something with the barest smidgen of His talent, his vision.
I feel I failed, but perhaps the journey is more important than the destination.
Well, I can still provide color for awhile longer, and I can think of nothing better than this genuine California spring flower.
I'm beginning to need color as much as the rest. We're due for another storm next week, and things are looking just this side of bleak. At least Walnut Creek, won't have 70 feet of snow.
Trifolium ciliolatum is a species of clover known by the common name foothill clover. It is native to western North America from Washington to Baja California. (It is found on the flanks of Mt. Diablo.)
It is a common plant of many regions, including disturbed habitat. I don't know what it is about clover that I've always liked, but as with thistle, it attracts bees and butterflies, is widely spread, and very colorful.
It is an annual herb growing erect in form, with hairless herbage. The leaves are made up of toothed oval leaflets and have bristle-tipped stipules. The inflorescence is a head of flowers 1 or 2 centimeters wide, the flowers often spreading out or drooping.
For awhile there, we could not attract many hummers into our backyard. It may have been due to all the heavy forest fire smoke that we have been having here. You have probably all heard about the terrible forest fires in Western Oregon right? Well we are kind of in the thick of it, but thank goodness we have not had to evacuate. At least not yet!
Anyway, the hummers are back and coming into our feeder and I consider that a little blessing. I do love watching them and photographing them. We, for awhile, were only attracting females, but as you see, here is a beautiful Anna's male hummer. Isn't he beautiful!
I hope you are all staying well my dear friends and especially the ones that are impacted by all these horrible fires out west here!
No use of my hummer image in any from without my permission!
Thank you kindly!
Once in awhile it snow's in Victoria BC Canada, the capital of our province and the city with the mildest climate in Canada. I couldn't resist catching the dramatic sunrise in the morning traffic.

With big curious eyes she wanders around. Trying to see more than what is really seen. Looking deeper can be tiring at times so it's good to close your eyes.
Rest for awhile and leave the big eyes to someone else. ;)
P.S Thanks Ji, for the Photoshop tips. :3

Whew, this took awhile! Started with an old photo of mine from September of 2018. Used normal oil painting effect at 60%, then Autumn effect to darken corners. Then used Adobe photoshop express sparkles effect SP15 at only about 33% strength so original photo could bleed through. Finished with a fine blue border.
Hi everyone, first time posting in awhile. I just took a social media break. What I found out is that Flickr was taking up way too much of my time and I wasn't getting important things done because of it. So I made a decision that I am only faving peoples images rather than commenting. I want to show that I am still appreciating your work even though I don't have the time to comment. If I do comment it means that your image is really loved by me and intrigued me a great deal. I will understand if you drop me because I can't reciprocate a comment in kind. So I just wanted to be honest and my contacts can make their decisions. This is disappointing for me as I wish there were more hours in the day.
The past month fungi have popped up everywhere around here. I have never seen this many and I think I photographed more fungi this month than in my entire life. So this colorful mushroom is the first of many to come.
I hope everyone enjoys this image! :D
Taxi Stand unusual in the rural South to find one, this is in a small town and has been around for awhile, the building is just a bit shabby, shot in North Carolina.
I think awhile of Love, and while I think,
Love is to me a world,
Sole meat and sweetest drink,
And close connecting link
‘Tween heaven and earth.

A walk along the ridge of Kinver Edge and you will come across these benches where you can sit and take in the views .On top of the bench you can see and small brass plate ,it will have the name of a loved one no longer with us that their family have paid for this bench to be put here in memory of them ...this may have been a favourite view when they were alive
Back to random posts for awhile, till my next series.
This passage thru this wall is also called the Sinclair Canyon Falls, It is one of the first visual rewards and clues of the beauty ahead when entering BC's Kootenay National Park from Radium Hot Springs BC.
Hwy 93 (Banff-Windermere hwy) barely squeezes thru this tight chasm. An engineering marvel, and thrill when seeing and driving thru it.
This is the western entrance to the park which leads to Banff National Park. My preferred route. Spectacular scenery in every direction ahead.
Happy Friday!
*Working Towards a Better World
As I shall be off Flickr soon for awhile, I have decided to stick with my theme on love until I leave.
This is an open letter
From you and me together
Tomorrow's in our hands now
Find the words that matter
Say them out loud
And make it better somehow
Looking down from up on the moon
It's a tiny blue marble
Who would've thought the ground we stand on
Could be so fragile
This is a love song to the Earth
You're no ordinary world
A diamond in the universe
Heaven's poetry to us
Keep it safe, keep it safe, keep it safe
Cause it's our world, it's our world
It's not about possessions
Money, or religion
How many years we might live
When the only real question that matters
Is still a matter of perspective
Looking down from up on the moon
You're a tiny blue marble
Who would've thought the ground we stand on
Could be so fragile
This is a love song to the Earth
You're no ordinary world
Diamond in the universe
Heaven's poetry to us
Keep it safe, keep it safe, keep it safe
(Keep mother Earth safe)
Cause it's our world, it's our world
It's our world, it's our world, it's our world
It's our world, it's our world, it's our world
[Rap | Sean Paul]
Bang Bang Bang
See Mama earth is in a crazy mess
It's time for us to do our best
From deep sea straight up to Everst
She under crazy stress
Unless you wanna be motherless
Clean heart, Green Heart is the way
Is stress, speedniess and too much Greediness
Six billion people all want plentiness
Some people think this is harmless
(It's our world)
But if we continue their'll only be emptiness
This is a love song to the Earth
You're no ordinary world
A diamond in the universe
Heaven's poetry to us
Keep it safe, keep it safe, keep it safe
(Special paradise)
Let's keep it safe
This is a love song to the Earth
You're no ordinary world
Diamond in the universe
Heaven's poetry to us
Keep it safe, keep it safe, keep it safe
It's our world
It's our world
It's our world
Cause it's our world

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
After awhile I decided to take off my 1x4 converter as was thinking I might not get the Osprey in frame at the pond with 840mm so near the end of visit this one comes in and lands on the large oak tree typical of my luck when the extra focal length was needed maybe about less than a mile roughly this is cropped too.
It's leg ring is 326 hidden here.I have submitted the info to the Roy Dennis foundation that man should be knighted for his work with raptors.
Thanks for stopping by always appreciated.
Best doubled clicked.
Saw this leaf awhile back and took a shot of it……. Yesterday, January 1st remembering it, decided to turn over a new leaf so went out to turn it over as there are no new ones this time of year but guess those couple midnight cheers were more than remembered because this leaf would not budge, went back into the house to the computer and turned the photo over and this is the result……………………. So much for a turning over new leaf……….
I thought I had one in the folder, and I did. This is Lacey. It has been awhile since I displayed her magnificence here.

Hey Flickr Friends!! After almost a decade away, I'm making a new post on here! Tons of stuff has happened between then and now, but I recently decided to log back into Flickr and for the past week I've been catching up on all your recent images. It's been really nice to see after all this time! Here is an image I took a few years back of a Rose-breasted Grosbeak. These birds became a favorite of mine. We were living off a Nature Preserve for awhile and these beauties would come in the Spring, it was really wonderful! Hope you have an amazing day!
Taken awhile back when it was cold. It was hand held and I am sure it would have been much better on a tripod.
During a break while playing in a bar in downtown Kitchener ON.
Stay awhile......let this world refresh your soul and
melt your worries away.

Hi Aliens!
It's been awhile, but I put together a new pair of funky glasses for you!
This set comes with 8 colors and 8 patterns giving you 16 options to mix and match, just click to change!
We crisscrossed this railroad track several times and at one point we saw where the bank was held in place by railroad ties in horizontal position and I couldn't help but wonder what happened when those railroad ties disintegrated....
I will be so much more excited about my photos when the green leaves come back! LOL Tan and grey can get old after awhile I think!
If you've followed me for awhile on Flickr, you KNOW the Pronghorn is my all-time favorite North American animal, second only to the African Cheetah. They just happen to have something in common - speed. No speed here, though, evidently just a little lesson in the art of the duel. I gotta wonder how animals communicate - the smaller buck is, in my mind, clearly getting some instruction from the senior - you could pretty much read the big guy's lips. In fact, they physically interacted just moments before, so maybe junior is getting graded before they face off again. What a joy.
You're not wondering why I cut off the big guy -- not often I get caught with too much glass. And if you were wondering about the pronghorn's speed - maybe 55mph in a burst; the cheetah burst as much as 70mph.
Taken awhile back at a Saturday night car show just outside of town. This place has a car club get together every week throughout the summer.
Happy Truck Thursday
It's been awhile since I posted a photo. I was so disappointed in the last one being so dark. In reality the colors were lovely! I may redo that photo and repost at a later date. So the computer is off to be replaced. Hopefully I will have a new one by midweek next week. In the meantime, I had to figure out how to use the laptop and it's quite different from my PC. Plus... the mouse wifi was hooked to the old computer and I had to figure out something for a mouse. Ah it goes on and on. So this is a peek down into Rockfish Valley. At this point one is somewhere between Waynesboro and Charlottesville VA. It's a very wide panoramic view actually and this is only a part of the view. I expect all these leaves are down by now. This was from last Sunday's drive with a photographer friend,
Took this awhile ago but never got around to posting. I liked the fritillary's colors and how they blended into the mulch.

Everyone once in awhile the GB&W's West End crew (Merrillan-East Winona) would execute a Dutch drop at Merrillan, Wis. This happened when the crew pulled the C&NW transfer, which was a facing point move going eastbound.
Here the 309 waits safely in the clear as conductor Gary Neinfelt manages the handbrake on the cut of cars off the transfer drifting west toward the rest of #2's train.
