The other day I saw Zooks sweet picture of a skull and flames:

And asked if I could have a go at the idea - here's my go :-)
I took this when i was camping at Hocking Hill but never had the right programs to edit it. Minus the creating of the panoramic and resizing, there was no other editing done. Enjoy!
So, my attempts at woodland photography usually end up with them looking cluttered and a total mess. This year's challenge is to try to improve...
This was taken on the way back to Helmsley after walking through Riccal Dale. I love the way the light is falling softly on the woodland floor.
My first attempt at star wars after a year(+) of post apoc/ halo/ other SCI-FI.
Im pretty pleased with the result.
I starting working on some microscale designs for the Space Truckers category for Space Jame 2019 but I wasn't feeling it, so they stalled. I took some photos anyway (like I usually do) for future reference.
The same view of the last picture as we saw it. Although it was a massive kick that wasn't converted it went wide rather than falling short. I cannot begin to think about kicking that far away!
An immature Bald Eagle makes an attempt to deprive an adult of its prey. Photographed on the Susquehana River in Maryland.
My first attempts of photographic composition.
Taken about 64 years ago with a Soviet basic camera in the small Transylvanian town where I spent most of my childhood.
I have posted these before but, using newly found (though still tatty) 2"x2" prints and better scanning software, I believe I got better results.
I'm not sure I follow the logic, but I'm willing to believe.
which is basically what true romance consists of.
lumos!
my attempt at a Harry Potter themed picture.
i'm such a nerd i picked a stick from my yard and measured it to make sure it was 11 inches, like Harry's wand. ;)
Also, the book I'm holding is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
I might try this again later..
edit: oh my goodness! i know that 377 views is literally nothing to some (most) people, but it means everything to me. thank you everyone(:
Just needing to paint, so out of my imagination I did these. Sadly my daffodils didn't bloom this year. Wonder what happened?
Hey everyone!
So I decided to keep practicing and I made something a bit more simple this time round. And I have been in Francie obsession mode lately so I wanted to make something for her.
This is a what I believe is called a sack dress? It has no darts which I think looks a little strange but I thought it best to follow the design. Although I did decide to line rather than hem as I wanted to make it a bit easier for me and make something nice and fray free for francie.
I decided to use the reverse side of the fabric as the pattern and colour was a bit overwhelming. But I do love the native Australian gum pattern. I also added a belt and a flower at the shoulder to make it a bit more interesting.
I think it turned out quite well but there are a few things I definitely need to work on. One is lining up the shoulder seams correctly and the other is doing curved stitching using the sewing machine.
I would also love to get some lighter weight fabric for lining the outfits.
First attempt at night photography, (sadly minus tripod, as I had my hands full) not perfect but I like it anyway :) My 11 year old son is in there somewhere!!!!!
