St Judes Church, Southsea Portsmouth Hants UK! This was the answer to the Guess Where Portsmouth UK, correctly guessed (too quickly!) by eNil!!! I actually went to St Judes Primary School, so this was my church, when I was growing up!!!
A workman had to run for his life yesterday after a large section of scaffolding collapsed in Southsea.
Shoppers looked on in amazement as the scaffolding at St Jude's Church in Kent Road came crashing down into the street at about 4.20pm on the 22nd July 2009.
Work to redevelop St Jude's Church in Kent Road, Southsea, has been going on for the past five months.
Nobody was injured in the accident and workmen were busy tidying the mess up last night.
The church lies opposite the top end of Palmerston Road, a busy shopping street in the centre of Southsea.
Answer: Because today is national "Go to Work Naked Day"! :P Sakura is pissed off because it isn't Sasuke undressing.

This "portrait" was taken in my dorm room at the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science, circa 1992-1993.
Of note:
- The elementary functions on the wall (trigonometric, hyperbolic trigonometric, exponential/lograithmic) were the result of my fascination with them and a desire to produce hand-drawn wall art the previous summer.
- The hand drawn calendar on the wardrobe with my course schedule. Madness to think of functioning without an on-line calendar these days!
- The hair is what happens when my hair is short.
- The PC is an already rickety Packard Bell 386/16 Mhz, with a screaming 1 MB of Ram and a gargantuan 80 MB hard drive.
- My roommate was a big Clinton/Gore booster in '92, hence the signs on the door.
- The face here is because I've always had issues smiling in a non-goofy way for photos, so I went through a phase when I glowered.
- This was the same bathrobe I wore to class in 1991 in the famous incident where I was locked out of my dorm room.
- Photo was probably on a disposable Kodak, and almost certainly taken by my roommate at the time, Augustus Michael Casiday. The lens appear to be approximately normal on 35mm film.

This is tricky. You have to pull each spring with a spring hook and hook it over the support rod. Then the rod is moved along to fit the next spring.

The ANSWER protest sign drama continues as the anti-war group hides behind the First Amendment in its defacement of Washington DC public property.
Yesterday the Department of Public Works fined the ANSWER coalition $10,000 for posting hundreds of signs to promote a peace march September 15 that were illegally affixed to utility boxes, using glue that was too sticky, exceeded the number of signs allowed per block, and not registering copies with the DPW.
Today ANSWER responded that it would counter-sue, claiming that the DC government fined them in a "politically motivated" bid to silence their efforts against the war in Iraq.
Let me be one of the many to call "bullshit" on ANSWER coalition position. Slapping up ugly-ass posters on every inanimate object in the city, violating very clear anti-graffiti rules that every other protest organization follows, is not Free Speech. Nor would the content be what pisses off the citizens of Washington.
ANSWER forgets that DC is majority Democrat and in general does not condone the idiot in the White House, and is very much against the war in Iraq. More importantly, they forget that they are guests in DC, and defacing our city isn't the way to treat guests.
So I'd like to send ANSWER a message. I'd like you to join me in removing ANSWER signs and sending the detritus to ANSWER's HQ at 1247 E St. SE, Washington, DC 20003. Better yet, give them an earful while you do it on (202) 544-3389.

It is Bone Broth Gelatin which, after the fat globules are removed would definitely get a Paleo tick! - This particular broth from a pair of Lamb necks simmered, whole, for a good 4 hrs. The Lamb Stew was exquisite with lots of vegies added!
