So I got a little tired of posting pics from the Haunted Mansion 40th.....Also got a little busy in life. So I decided to post one of my favorite places ever in California Adventure, The Animation Building.
I love this place, with its 30ft+ projection screens, music, air conditioning, and great photo oportunities.
Quick note on this shot, I did this handheld with the new Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 lens. I love this lens for the crop sensor cameras, I might have to start saving for it.

My first ever stop motion animation! Am quite pleased. It was for a brief, but lost the plot and it doesn't necessarily completely fit in with my work.
But this does not kill the joy of finding out that I may, indeed have a little patience.
I didn't to chuck the camera out of the window once.

On Saturday 21 March, the animated athletes and crowds they’ve created will be projected metres high onto the Town Hall and surrounding buildings where they will sprint, pole vault and swim across the sides of the buildings transforming the area into an ‘Olympic’ arena.

this one was a great exercise in learning to effectively texture a creature.

These are some images from a short animation I´ve done. It´s for an upcoming book project where artists been asked to a do a creative task they´re not familiar with. So I did an animation...
When starting the animation, I thought first it would be important to go through the entire dialogue keying out key poses. To separate each key pose made it so every keyframe is linear. My character plays between a few emotions passion, proud and angry. My rig gave me control over: Cheeks, eye brows, Jaw, middle lip, outer lip, nose. The poses consisted a lot of frowns, open jaws and extreme squashes and stretching. I though my rig handled these emotions very well and made the animation process less troublesome.
