On Saturday 21 March, the animated athletes and crowds they’ve created will be projected metres high onto the Town Hall and surrounding buildings where they will sprint, pole vault and swim across the sides of the buildings transforming the area into an ‘Olympic’ arena.
"This section of the park originally was the starting point for the tours of the park's active production studios. Its entrance is marked by a square "studio arch," much like a real Hollywood studio lot entrance might be marked. The Animation Courtyard is home to a number of attractions based on Disney characters. The Magic of Disney Animation is an attraction that examines the development process of an animated character."

So I got a little tired of posting pics from the Haunted Mansion 40th.....Also got a little busy in life. So I decided to post one of my favorite places ever in California Adventure, The Animation Building.
I love this place, with its 30ft+ projection screens, music, air conditioning, and great photo oportunities.
Quick note on this shot, I did this handheld with the new Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 lens. I love this lens for the crop sensor cameras, I might have to start saving for it.

From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes âMoana,â a sweeping, CG-animated comedy-adventure about a spirited teenager on an impossible mission to fulfill her ancestors' quest. A born navigator, Moana sets sail from the ancient South Pacific islands of Oceania in search of a fabled island. During her incredible journey, she teams up with her hero, the legendary demi-god Maui, to traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous sea creatures, breathtaking underworlds and ancient folklore. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker ("The Little Mermaid," "The Princess and the Frog," "Aladdin"), "Moana" arrives in theaters in late 2016. ©2014 Disney.
