Medical 3D animation is a great tool to show operations without the gore.
Animation of the "rational circles" images that I posted earlier. Interesting fact:: each single circle in the image always gets smaller as the animation progresses, even thought many sub-complexes seem to be getting larger.

So I got a little tired of posting pics from the Haunted Mansion 40th.....Also got a little busy in life. So I decided to post one of my favorite places ever in California Adventure, The Animation Building.
I love this place, with its 30ft+ projection screens, music, air conditioning, and great photo oportunities.
Quick note on this shot, I did this handheld with the new Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 lens. I love this lens for the crop sensor cameras, I might have to start saving for it.

Eine Proton-Rakete bringt die Raumsonde Spektrum-Röntgen-Gamma (SRG) vom Kosmodrom Baikonur mit dem deutschen Röntgenteleskop eROSITA und seinem russischen Partnerinstrument ART-XC zu ihrem 1,5 Millionen Kilometer entfernten Ziel - dem Lagrange-Punkt 2. Von diesem Ort des Kräftegleichgewichts aus wird eROSITA (extended Roentgen Survey with an Imaging Telescope Array) die gigantischste kosmische Inventur des heißen Universums beginnen.

The Spektrum-Röntgen-Gamma (Spektr-RG / SRG) spacecraft will be carrying the German ‘extended ROentgen Survey with an Imaging Telescope Array’ (eROSITA) X-ray telescope and its Russian ART-XC partner instrument. A Proton rocket will carry the spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome towards its destination – the second Lagrange point of the Sun-Earth system, L2, which is 1.5 million kilometres from Earth. In orbit around this equilibrium point, eROSITA will embark upon the largest ever survey of the hot Universe.

The Animation Decathlon is a unique interactive arts installation combining cutting edge architectural projections, outdoor video gaming and original sound design in the courtyard of Kensington Town Hall.
The event is the culmination of a year long project working with children and young people across Kensington and Chelsea to create a fantastic series of 2012 - inspired drawings and animations. Click here to find out more about the project
On Saturday 21 March, the animated athletes and crowds they’ve created will be projected metres high onto the Town Hall and surrounding buildings where they will sprint, pole vault and swim across the sides of the buildings transforming the area into an ‘Olympic’ arena.
My first ever stop motion animation! Am quite pleased. It was for a brief, but lost the plot and it doesn't necessarily completely fit in with my work.
But this does not kill the joy of finding out that I may, indeed have a little patience.
I didn't to chuck the camera out of the window once.

I created this piece by using stop-motion photography. Each frame I hand drew and photographed, then I traced over and replicated the next one, however adjusting the scene and bunny slightly.
