With his erice chair, Alfredo Häberli revisits the essential style and clean lines of his segesta and selinunte collection to create a new shape, with a personality of its own. A distinctive trait is the hole in the back, which ensures elasticity and comfort. The exterior profile of the shell recalls the inner shape of the hole, engendering an impression of movement and balance.
Erice is available in a wide choice of base structures: 4 legs, sledge, on wheels, cross shaped, wooden, as well as a new trestle-like version with 4 conified legs. The shell, made from plastic material, offers a choice of colours: white, sand, beige, light blue. The main purpose of the atlas collection is based on one single concept of legs in
conic white and grey stove enamelled steel. Tables and small tables are developed with
the same structure, on a round or cross base, with tops available in different shapes
and dimensions, made of aluminium with laminate or veneered in different wood finishes
including the new canaletto nut one.

Aline. Linear, light, and rigorously elegant, this bookcase can be used to create a subtle partition in the home or office. It was designed for Alias by Dante Bonuccelli, an architect and designer of Argentine origin, who conceived a slim and very clean-cut structure.
Made from extruded stove-enamelled aluminium in neutral shades of white, graphite grey or textured metallic grey, it allows the books to furnish the space.
It is also extremely simple to assemble, with the option of installing individual drawers, containers with a flap door or a sliding door with drawers.
LEDs can be inserted in the vertical elements to create a subtle and attractive effect, providing indirect lighting on the wall.
Thanks to its simplicity and severity, the bookcase is configured as an effective architectural element able to organise space.
A corner element can be used to create a different combinations, closed areas and connections.
Aline, available in 4 different heights, allows you to create a number of different configurations, from sideboards to bookcases.

The frame collection is characterised by PVC covered polyester mesh available in many
colour variants, with a structure in extruded aluminium and stove enamelled die casting
components. Comprised of an array of products, each designed differently to combine
comfort and function, frame is a successful collection which over the years has became
an icon for other collections.

The result of combining a solid traditional material, solid wood, with the lightest,
expanded polyurethane, with a filled structure. The external shell in plywood or sliced
veneer multi-laminate available with a transparent varnish finish or various lacquer
colours. In 2009 it became part of the resident MoMA collection in New York.

pelle accoppiata con poliuretano espanso soft, che ne aumenta il
comfort. Le sedie presentano una struttura di legno di massello,
impiallacciato, con supporto interno in poliuretano espanso.
Maneggevoli, resistenti ed impilabili, disponibili in diversi colori, si

The laleggera collection has been enriched thanks to the
introduction of a new upholstery material: full-grain leather and
synthetic-leather mated to soft foamed polyurethane, for
enhanced comfort. The chairs have a finely veneered structure
made from solid wood with an interior support in polyurethane
foam. Easy to handle, sturdy and stackable, these chairs are
available in different colours and are suitable for prestigious home
or contract environments.
Spaghetti, design Giandomenico Belotti
A symbol in the history of design, it is the first Alias chair to appear in the MoMA
collection of New York. The structure is in stove enamelled or chromed steel, the seats
and backs in the distinctive woven PVC, subtle in the transparent version and more striking
in the various coloured versions. Also available in variants like leather hide and the
special straw of the paludis series that enable unexpected tactile and visual experiences.

The teak collection returns to the essence of the setes bench with its chairs, tables
and chaise-longue models. Manufactured with teak wood slats on a die-cast aluminium
frame, the products of the teak collection are resistant over time and pleasant
to the touch. Suitable for outdoor areas, they add solidity and attention to detail

Made from extruded stove-enamelled aluminium in neutral shades of white, graphite grey or textured metallic grey, it allows the books to furnish the space.
It is also extremely simple to assemble, with the option of installing individual drawers, containers with a flap door or a sliding door with drawers.
LEDs can be inserted in the vertical elements to create a subtle and attractive effect, providing indirect lighting on the wall.
Thanks to its simplicity and severity, the bookcase is configured as an effective architectural element able to organise space.

A distinctive trait is the hole in the back, which ensures elasticity and comfort. The exterior profile of the shell recalls the inner shape of the hole, engendering an impression of movement and balance.
Erice is available in a wide choice of base structures: 4 legs, sledge, on wheels, cross shaped, wooden, as well as a new trestle-like version with 4 conified legs. The shell, made from plastic material, offers a choice of colours: white, sand, beige, light blue. Highly comfortable is the soft version with cushions in shaped polyurethane and regenerated leather support, or upholstered with Dacron® covered with Kvadrat® fabric, leather or synthetic leather, and secured to the shell by means of snap fasteners.

exploring new applications for the exceptional lightness and strength of the material,
normally used in the sports industry to produce extreme competition bicycles. Hydrochair.
A seat that manages to be both sturdy and delicately refined. The sophisticated hydroforming
process allows for continual variations in the aluminium cross-sections, greatly
reducing use of material. The most innovative aspect of hydrochair lies in its combination
of hydro-formed and pressure-cast aluminium; a technological hybrid that maximises
properties of lightness and strength. These aesthetic and physical characteristics are
fundamental to a chair that lends itself to being frequently moved about and stacked.

A symbol in the history of design, it is the first Alias chair to appear in the MoMA
collection of New York. The structure is in stove enamelled or chromed steel, the seats
and backs in the distinctive woven PVC, subtle in the transparent version and more striking
in the various coloured versions. Also available in variants like leather hide and the
special straw of the paludis series that enable unexpected tactile and visual experiences.

The result of combining a solid traditional material, solid wood, with the lightest,
expanded polyurethane, with a filled structure. The external shell in plywood or sliced
veneer multi-laminate available with a transparent varnish finish or various lacquer
colours. In 2009 it became part of the resident MoMA collection in New York.

Agile and sturdy, the modular supporting structure of the system is made of extruded
aluminium profiles, with die-cast elements. The shelves, drawers and flap doors are
made of sheet steel stove enamelled in different colours: white, black, ochre, grey and
graphite grey. Glass shelves can be had in three versions: transparent, printed, green.
Methacrylate panels and sliding panels can be: black sandblasted on both faces, transparent,
natural sandblasted, green sandblasted, transparent red, clear smoky black
and white. This elements are also available in the wengé and whitened oak veneered
finishes.

The main purpose of the atlas collection is based on one single concept of legs in
conic white and grey stove enamelled steel. Tables and small tables are developed with
the same structure, on a round or cross base, with tops available in different shapes
and dimensions, made of aluminium with laminate or veneered in different wood finishes
including the new canaletto nut one.
Su un unico concetto di gamba, in acciaio conificato verniciato grigio o bianco, si basa
il progetto portante della collezione atlas. Dalla stessa struttura, su base rotonda o a
croce, si sviluppano tavoli e tavolini con piani disponibili in diverse forme e dimensioni,
realizzati in alluminio rivestito in laminato o impiallacciato in diverse essenze, tra le
quali la nuova in noce canaletto.
Manzù, design Pio Manzù
Alias revisits a key archive project by Pio Manzù, the brilliant protagonist of Italian
automobile design during the sixties. The idea materialised at the GAMeC of
Bergamo where the archives of Pio Manzù’s work are stored. It is here that Renato
Staffaucher and the designer’s son, Giacomo Manzoni, met in 2010. Together they
studied sketches, projects and materials until their attention was drawn to a
prototype chair designed for the Rinascente department store, clearly taking its
inspiration from the automobile industry. Unfortunately, the chair base was missing
and only one photograph had survived to tell its story. So began an exciting journey
of research and reconstruction. Three-dimensional systems were used to redesign the
five-star base originally created in Pio Manzù’s day by a collaborating Japanese artist.
At the same time, the leather prototype, which had been damaged over the course of
time, was carefully restored. The re-edition began to take form and finally reach its
completion. The decision was made to integrate a footrest on a four-star base,
designed to be wholly coherent with the design and proportions of the chair. This
journey of culture and design has given Alias the opportunity to discover a deeprooted
affinity with the historical figure of Pio Manzù. One of the first designers to
have conceived the man-machine relationship beyond mere function, considering
aspects of safety and well-being, Manzù’s uncompromising approach to design and
his familiarity with technology made him a genuine pioneer in the sphere of
ergonomics.
Similarly to an ottoman, the chair is made up of a supporting structure in dense
polyurethane co-formed with polyurethane foam. The base is cast aluminium,
polished and enamelled in various colours. Both pieces are presented in an elegant
leather upholstery with a choice of several shades.
Alias edita uno storico progetto di Pio Manzù, geniale protagonista del car design
italiano fra gli anni ’60. L’idea nasce alla GAMeC di Bergamo dove si trovano gli
archivi dell’opera di Pio Manzù. Qui, nel 2010 si incontrano Renato Staffaucher e il
figlio del designer, Giacomo Manzoni. Insieme valutano schizzi, progetti e materiali. E
l’attenzione si focalizza sul prototipo di una seduta disegnata per la Rinascente di
chiara derivazione automobilistica. Manca però la base, di cui resta solo una foto. Ha
inizio allora un appassionante lavoro di ricerca e ricostruzione. Attraverso il 3D viene
ridisegnata la base a cinque razze, creata all’epoca per Pio Manzù da un artista
giapponese. Contemporaneamente viene restaurato il prototipo in pelle danneggiato
dal tempo. La riedizione prende forma e giunge alla sua realizzazione. A
completamento del progetto è stato anche previsto un poggiapiedi dotato di base a
quattro razze del tutto coerente nel disegno e nelle proporzioni con la seduta.
Un’operazione di cultura del design, attraverso cui Alias scopre profonde affinità con
la figura di Pio Manzù. Fra i primi a concepire il rapporto uomo-macchina in termini
di sicurezza e benessere, oltre la pura funzionalità. Autentico pioniere
dell’ergonomia, grazie al rigore progettuale e alla padronanza delle tecnologie.
La poltrona, come il pouf, è composta da scocca portante in poliuretano compatto
costampato con poliuretano espanso e base in fusione d’alluminio, lucidato o
verniciato in diversi colori. Entrambi i pezzi sono proposti con l’elegante rivestimento
in pelle, di diverse tinte.

Tec is an elementary modular table features slender legs in die-cast aluminium that are
hooked onto an extruded aluminium structure set back relative to the edge of the table
top. On the one hand, this configuration achieves an interesting visual effect as the top
seems to be floating in the air and, on the other hand, thanks to the structure’s rigidity,
it is able to support extremely long tops thereby making it possible to choose from
a very broad range of sizes.
Tec è un tavolo elementare componibile caratterizzato dalla gamba, in pressofusione
di alluminio, dal design slanciato, che si aggancia ad una struttura in alluminio estruso
arretrata rispetto al bordo del tavolo. Questo schema da un lato consente visivamente
di far volare il piano del tavolo, e contemporaneamente, grazie alla rigidità strutturale
in grado di supportare piani molto lunghi, garantisce la possibilità di sviluppare una
gamma molto ampia di dimensioni.
