Curvy enough yet? These are fun, but I'm crap at curvy details. Oh well, more to learn :).
Oh and loads/eject from the bottom, semi auto.

A continuation of my childhood series.
This was the original concept I shot when I was on the boat the other day, and I've spent a few days working on this. There are still things about this I do not like, but overall I am quite proud of this piece as a whole.

Is Mordor a bad and dangerous place at this scale too? I was trying to see how else I can use bulldozer/tank tracks and it turns out Sauron's tower can be made :D
And by a strange coincidence this fits well in microscale collection with soccersnyderi Rivendell and -Balbo- Hobbiton. But, to be honest, theirs is much more awesome :)
uploaded late because i visited rowan university with alyssa last night :)

Not much time for pics, too sick. Staggered into driveway in a Nyquil-induced haze, saw the fog. Tripod. Timer something or other. 1sec. Something.
Needs a texture, yeah?

The first A-108 were commissioned more than forty years ago. Designed for the Colonial Navy as a heavy multi-role assault craft, the Harvester can engage capital ships in space as well as ground targets on planets. It is equipped with a medium blaster and a gimbaled double barrel rail gun to crack through any armour. A torpedo launcher bay and loadout hardpoints under the fuselage complete the offensive means. The independent thrust vectoring twin engines provide atypical maneouverability for this class of starfighters, enabling the A-108 to incorporate a mix of inertial gliding and vectored flight in their attack runs.
While fortunately no wars were raging for the last thirty years, the repeated deployment of A-108 squadrons to suppress secession endeavours of certain colonies has sparked a debate about the use and necessity of this type of offensive craft in peace times.
My entry for the Space Jam Starfighter Contest
I built this coming from the idea of incorporating massive swiveling thrusters at the back and the canopy pieces in the front. Everything in between just happened. My biggest and sturdiest build to date, the Harvester has a rigid Technic skeleton inside. The weight and leverage of the engines proved to be quite challenging for the kinematics and required locked turntables and rotation joints to support the forces.
The play features are:
- mountable drop pod with folded probe drone inside
- two fully poseable thrust vectoring engines
- wide angle 3D-swiveling double barrel rail gun
- retractable landing gear
- full-featured cockpit
i remember when i was away and i couldn't sleep at night. and how i got out of bed and ran down the four flights of stairs, through the halls, down the incline to the student parking, to my silver vw. fighting that cold lump forming in my throat. i remember turning on the heater and the way it made my car smell. my feet were the first to melt.
sometimes i would drive for hours. i would find myself falling asleep by the atlantic ocean. after screaming at the sea and blaming it for everything. i would play that song over again and again until it was like breathing. an involuntary movement and sound that i was no longer aware i was hearing.
its been raining all day. and i've been breathing.

I finally got the old computer fixed, so I'm back for good. If you need to talk to me about anything, FM me or get on Skype.
Thanks for all the support while I was gone!
Oh, and this is my representation of a poseable Assassin Droid.
These are my shots for the My Face is My Canvas Emulation Week #4
My boyfriend actually did my make-up for me. We did it all with an eyeliner pencil and some eyeshadow lol. Its still all over my face. The whole time he was doing it I kept asking him if I was pretty. :) He said, "Your always pretty."
I'm going to see Where the Wild Things are with my friend Chris tomorrow night at midnight :) I just downloaded the soundtrack because I was stoked to find out Karen O did it. I love her, she's so crazy.

My build for BFVA19 sadly didn't get finished before the con's end, but I was able to wrap it up over the past couple of days. I'm sad I didn't get to do the original two plate plan, but I'm still super satisfied with the result! Huge shoutout to Greg, Michael, and George for all their help at the con! Let me know what you think down below :-)
Do you agree?
== YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYBODY (REMIX) ==
The lesson: those you can please, those you are pleasing, please them the most. Less friction, time saved, and in turn, they'll be inspired to please others — continuing that voyage.
When you're on life's journeys, dead ends suck. Don't get stuck with people who are dead ends. Don't put the seeds where the soil is infertile.
Growing can be uncomfortable and unsettling, but being stagnant is a false comfort. Saying too much when you should do a little is self-deception. It all ultimately catches up to you while you lie, and crushes your spirit. Screws you over.
But killing ambition never, ever happens all at once. That's why it's so hard to visualize the moving targets every day, then hit one damn thing after another.
Some say it takes courage to stand up for what you believe in. I think it also takes intense focus, because with so much noise and mind-junk, it's hard to clearly decide.
So, launch a preemptive strike against all that is mediocre and sloppy in your world. Familiarize yourself with humanity's foolish behavior, and perhaps you, like I, will come to an epiphany that its versatility and range is triumphantly dwarfed by a celebration of our creativity. Our passion. Down with the negative naysayers who barf on our dreams (and aren't working on making their own come true)! Turn away the unenlightened who blather scurrilous rumors without using Google! And deny anyone who's here to block our happiness.
They, as humans, can arise and be uplifted if they volunteer. Then comes understanding. No one can be forced to be happy. Nor will you ever be happy if you allow the low-minds to trash you.
Each of us makes our choices, some choices are made for us. And each day, even with so much we can't affect, there's so much we can. Like people you can please; focus on where you can make a positive difference. Start here by recognizing the truth in the above statement.
This is a re-do that some out there may have seen before.
I have been putting a lot of time into how I process and hopefully this will help the overall standard of my shots.
Wayshrines in Elder Scrolls Online are teleporters, used for fast traveling to – or between – them. They look like large gazebos and their designs are based on the typical architecture of the region where they were built.
This particular Wayshrine is the Kynesgrove Wayshrine in Eastmarch , south of Windhelm. The design is based on Nord architecture.
I had to start twice, since the first version was too large for minifig scale. I posted a picture on my Twitter channel :
We had a party celebrating my friend's birthday on recent weekend. I'm glad I had some time to go out to the fields to see and capture the last minutes of the day. It was foggy and wet, but very beautiful...

I was able to shoot this with the help of my husband, I had the remote in my hand while he poured red sand over my face, so the sand is not "faked". If you could even tell it was sand heheh.
I really wanted to play with the idea here that humans can be built, re-made, or even de-constructed. The sheet as representation of flesh, the sand as representation of blood.

n 1888 Queen Victoria granted Belfast the status of the city and it was agreed that a grand and magnificent building was required to reflect this new status. City Hall opened its doors on the first of August 1906, at a time of unprecedented prosperity and industrial might for the city.
The new City Hall was designed by Alfred Brumwell Thomas in the Baroque Revival style and constructed in Portland stone. The incredible building cost £369,000 to complete, the equivalent around 128 million pounds today but remains an extraordinary beacon of success and civic pride for Belfast.
City Hall has many connections with the famous ocean liner Titanic. Viscount William Pirrie who was Lord Mayor in 1896-1897 just before City Hall’s construction, was also managing director of Harland & Wolff Shipyard. He is the man credited as having the idea for both ambitious builds. He used many of his skilled workmen in the fit-out of City Hall which is why the interiors today are considered an incredible insight into the finish of Titanic’s lounges and suites, the ship’s carving panelling being very similar.
i've been sick in bed for the last few days from food poisoning (mind you, i'm emetophobic). Needless to say it was probably one of the worst experiences of my entire life. But i have to say, the sound of the raindrops on my roof was probably the most soothing thing in the world.
And i'm all better now. :]

This friendly gentleman, a resident of Atienza, agreed to have his picture taken while he was cooling off in this beautiful fountain in the Plaza de España in Atienza, Guadalajara, Spain.
Given its strategic location in the province of Guadalajara, Atienza has Celtiberian remains, predating the arrival of the Roman Empire, whose historians called it Titrhya.
Over the years, it passed through various periods of rule, including Roman, Visigothic, and Arab, and was finally definitively acquired by the Crown of Castile in the 12th century.
Thanks to the charters granted by the kings, Atienza became a city with significant economic activity, with its livestock, agriculture, and as a stopover for muleteers.
A telling sign of its power is that it once boasted fourteen Catholic churches.
Its decline began in the 15th century with the various civil wars that plagued the Iberian Peninsula.
During the 19th century, and during the French invasion, its imposing castle was severely damaged, as were palaces and churches, which were looted and burned.
Today, given its traditionally strategic location, it forms part of the "Camino del Cid" (Way of El Cid), the "Don Quixote Route," and one of the routes of the "Camino de Santiago" (Way of St. James). Since 2019, it has been a member of the association of "The Most Beautiful Villages of Spain." (Source: Wikipedia)
(Fuente: Wikipedia)
A week of frigid temperatures made for exceptionally good skating conditions on the Rideau Canal Skateway today. Looks like multitudes of Ottawans agreed.
So this makes a creepy counterpoint to the previous, sunny shot. Here my room light is off, window closed and I have two LED lights (each light has a cluster of three LEDs in the middle) on the roof, with some white paper in between to diffuse the bright light.
Definitely the mood is more eerie here, the diffused light makes everything look flat. And the blue in the light bley bricks seems to dominate more. Even the glossiness of the floor is dulled now and the whole scene feels stagnant? compared to the previous shot.
Beautiful Matterhorn (4,478m high) with full moon before sunrise at Riffelsee.
It was freezing but unforgettable moment!!
