This is for the Smile on Saturday theme "Wearing Jewellery". Tofu (the cat) agreed to present some golden bracelets and a necklace although he thought they were far too bling bling for a boy. :) HSoS !
Aix galericulata
Wonderful Model MalyJ agreed to collaborate with me on my Harley Cowgirl Shoot March 29. She deserves a lot of credit for getting up early on a Sunday and braving the cold and windy day.
I agree I got carried away with the associations I had during experimenting with different screws, light sources and backgrounds (most of the images won't be seen here).
It was fun using the new light tape (it can be switched to different colours) that my husband brought home for (especially) macro work.
The four screws here were placed on a shiny plastic bag for reflections plus one on top. There are black cards in the background to darken the scene.
HMM to all participants 💙💙💙
I believe some of you would agree that the photo reflects a beautiful scene. It is—at least from my perspective. We had 20-30 cm overnight. We are expecting another 20 cm tonight. It has been snowing almost non stop. The temperature, because of the wind factor, dropped to around 22 Celsius below freezing. Nonetheless, children made the best of the fluffy soft stuff. For me, cleaning it, though time consuming, was relatively easy because it is lightweight. Santa brought only one shovel (for me, of course), none for himself except a relaxing fireplace somewhere. Have a wonderful and warm day.
...bulbs in half-barrels.
We have sunshine this morning, and even though I would rather see and be in rain, I am in the minority. Tree frogs might agree, however.
No matter your political POV, all can agree these are rocky times. Not something one would be apt to smile about. However, like rocky times before us, we have a strong foundation that will help to see us through.
Smile On Saturday Theme: Rocks
Overprocessed and not sure I really like it but did not
have anything else at the moment for you all so thought I
would upload it anyway :)
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!!

A walk by the sea helps with everything.
I also agree with Karen Blixen when she once said that salt water, sweat, tears and the sea help with everything.

I think you will agree with me with the title I chose for my post. I can't wait to enjoy another spring and summer but first we got to reach winter ( December 21) , wait a few months when rain and humidity will be the thing I might not be so exited about.. Anyway... Thanks for your visit . Enjoy the WE.
Profitez bien du WE.
This is my favorite lake between the ones I have visited in the north of Italy.
Why is the Lago di Braies my favorite?
A paradisiacal view with a beautiful contour in which we can see many trees and wildflowers in the relaxing pathway destined to the visitors.
A splendid color in the water reflecting, between other things, the majestic Dolomites still with some snow even in the Summer.
Besides this, a lovely little church and rustic boat house. How not to be enchanted with this scenery?
Besides me, a lot of Italian and Austrian tourists certainly will agree.
Baa-rilliant news! These two woolly wonders kindly agreed to pose for a quick snap. At first, they were a bit sheepish, but they finally stopped bleating about it and gave me their best looks. One even whispered, “Ewe better not tag me in this—I’m on the lam!” I told her to stop pulling the wool over my eyes.
I found them at my favorite alpaca farm, looking a little out of place. When I asked what they were doing there, they sighed and said, “We just needed a change of shear-nery.” They also grumbled about feeling old, but I assured them, “You’re not pasture prime!”
Anyway, I’ll stop ram-ewe-bling. Hope this picture makes ewe smile, well at least before the narrative makes you groan! 🐏🐏

There are always people, who only submit their wishlist at the very last minute. But a solution has been found this year. The Santa Claus who takes care of this special delivery(s) has received help from Bat, an old friendly friend, who flies him everywhere to deliver the packages. Bat enjoys it to the fullest, judging by his broad smile.
They both wish you a very relaxed weekend and hope you enjoy the pre-Xmas fun!
~~~
I agree with the wishes of the above company. Enjoy and keep smiling;-))
Also for theme of "Smile on Saturday": 'get in the festive mood'
The bat is really big, it has a wingspan of 47cm. Length form head to tail 21cm.
I used a 45x45cm brown wrapping paper.
The Santa is folded from 35c35cm redkami-paper. Final size :height 13cm, width 12cm. It can stand alone.
These are complex origami models and were great fun to fold ;-))
...not to upload this daisy. I love African daisies and when I saw them framing the sidewalk near IHOP where we took my oldest one for lunch, I had to have one. How dorky of me :)
It's sitting on the hood of my hubby's car, which makes it a carkeh, right Kel?
HBW again!!!!
** I have been visiting my friends in Hebden in North Yorkshire for many years. They live high on the Dales and its usually a little cool there . That weekend in 2019 it was like the Mediterranean over 30 C which is almost unheard of .
The highlight of the weekend was Hebden sports day a small event, but the villagers all seem too have turned out . My friends were running the throw a beanbag at tin cans stall it was all very high tech .
This shot is the boys under 12 running in a sack race race which is harder than it looks . I am sure you agree the setting for the sports day is pretty splendid
THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT TO MY STREAM.
I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL IF YOU COULD NOT FAVE A PHOTO
WITHOUT ALSO LEAVING A COMMENT .
At the beginning of the climb, immediately after the first bend, he appeared to me up there, one step away from the sky. He was the Great Buddha thath, with its big size, dominates the entire island of Phuket. That enormous statue is one of the major tourist attractions, but I was going there for another reason: the maid who cleaned my room daily had told me that the Great Buddha granted wishes, especially those of a sentimental nature. You knelt under him, mentally made your request and inserted a coin into the slot of a small box located nearby and you could be sure that the enchantment would come true. Your beloved was shot as if the Buddha were our Cupid and shot her arrow. ::
I was interested in it because on the day of my first arrival on Patong beach I had seen a free sunbed near the one that supported the graces of a beautiful oriental girl with bewitching eyes and a tempting smile. After the first chat, she had finally agreed to a meeting for the evening. So I went to the great Buddha hoping for a pleasant evening and a crackling night.
Do you want to know how it ended?
Things went so well that we soon went to her house. But at the end, as I give her the last kiss and say goodbye she says to me: "hey dear, you forget something: you owe me 200 dollars"
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
Ad inizio salita, subito dopo la prima curva, mi apparve lassù, ad un passo dal cielo. Era il Grande Buddha che, con la sua mole, sovrasta tutta l'isola di Phuket. Quell'enorme statua è uno dei punti di maggior attrazione turistica, ma io ci stavo andando per un altro motivo: la cameriera che giornalmente ripuliva le mia camera mi aveva raccontato che il grande Buddha esaudiva i desideri, in particolare quelli di natura sentimentale. Tu t'inginocchiavi sotto di lui, mentalmente facevi la tua richiesta e inserivi una moneta nella fessura di una cassettina situata là vicino e potevi star sicuro che l'incanto si avverava. La tua amata veniva colpita come se il Buddha fosse il nostro Cupido e lanciasse la sua freccia. ::
Ne ero interessato perché il giorno del mio primo arrivo sulla spiaggia di Patong avevo adocchiato un lettino libero vicino a quello che sorreggeva le grazie di una bella orientale dagli occhi ammalianti e dal sorriso tentatore. Dopo le prime chiacchiere, finalmente aveva accettato un incontro per quella sera. Così andavo dal grande Buddha confidando in una simpatica serata e una scoppiettante nottata.
Volete sapere com'è finita?
Le cose si sono messe così bene che presto siamo andati a casa sua. Ma alla fine, mentre le dò l'ultimo bacino e la saluto lei mi fa: "ehi carino, dimentichi qualcosa: mi devi 200 dollari"
Probably many owners of these cameras will agree with me ... When I decided to go on a long journey with the Foweon, many eminent editions wrote about the problem in the red range ... Now I know that these were not tetrahromats ...
