Aftermath of an early morning single vehicle car accident in the New Vernon section of Harding Township, New Jersey.

 

March 4, 2012. At approximately 2:00am a white BMW sped through the intersection of Spring Valley Road and Dickson's Mill Road in New Vernon. The driver failed to slow down a 90-degree t-shaped intersection, knocking down an electric and telephone utility pole and then crashing through a steel guard rail. The automobile came to rest only about 10 feet from a private residence. No other details are yet available.

Saipan was spared as the typhoon Melor shifted far enough north, winds were not as strong as feared.

In Zaporizhzhia, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reviewed the aftermath of the missile strike carried out by Russia on December 10.

The missile attack destroyed a medical center and damaged residential buildings, educational institutions, a sports club, and vehicles.

The search and rescue operation lasted nearly two days and concluded this afternoon. The strike claimed the lives of 11 people and injured 22 others. At the site of the attack, Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored the memory of the victims.

The President also spoke with hospital staff and instructed the Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration to secure a new facility for the medical personnel and assist with procuring equipment, including through donor and philanthropic contributions.
