Derrick & Melissa came over this morning - we started out at the Alemany farmers' market. How the rest of the day went, I'll leave as an excercise for you readers. ;)

The building that was standing here fell down earlier than expected, and caused a great crash and noise, with debris flying everywhere.
This photo was taken by Dad moments after the collapse.
I walked around Red Hook today, and was mostly appalled and moved in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Vestiges of peoples' lives...and arts....laid strewn in the streets, creating still-lifes that no one would ever dream imagine. This contact sheet of photos--depicting travels and nothing too personal--I thought symbolized how fragile life, and our creations are.

The AfterMath corporate brochure closely integrates with the website, using die-cut angles and, of course, a black/white color palette (and a hit of spot varnish on photo images). The brochure was the first communication to customers in the corporate launch.

Thanksgiving dinner is over. Small event this year.
in this shot you can almost see all of us as we deal with the aftermath of overeating. Grandpa is in the right of the frame, lying down on the couch... Wifey is just to the left of the frame, on the laptop... and (my favorite part) Grandma is my main subject, putting the finishing touches on a quilt she's making for my baby boy.
