The main fetch quest of the day, Adrian's hard suitcase. In 2 weeks time, this'll be travelling on Easyjet, full of 80% strength absinthe :p
My earlier attempt to make a Dorflingler using Emperor Norton absinthe and Bummer & Lazarus gin, both from Raff Distillerie, came out a bit harsh. I took a wild guess and tried it with St. George Dry Rye Reposado gin, and it came out much better! Still super local, an absinthe from Treasure Island and gin from the island of Alameda.
Wigle's rosemary lavender bitters worked well with this.

The local Lee's liquor store had these small absinthe bottles for sale so I thought I'd give it a try.
Truthfully, I think the packaging is better than the absinthe!
