Beaded rose brooch in minty absinthe green, to match dress my Mum made

This is at Bar Marsella. It is thought to be the oldest bar in Barcelona and is where Ernst Hemingway went to get some absinthe. Back in the day absinthe had an ingredient called wormwood and when drank in the right amount it acts as a hallucinogen. Now it has been taken out but the drink is very strong and has to be diluted.

In order to drink it you have to soak a sugar cube then light it on fire (like in the pic). Then you pour water slowly over the cube and it dissolves.
