If you ever visit Antibes, check out the Absinthe Bar by day! It's a treasure trove of images and stories... and they let you go down and take pictures!
The sole purpose of our trip to Spain was to stock up on absinthe.
With all that happened, we didn't get around to looking for any ^^;
I managed to grab one bottle at the airport duty free, but it's only 70% and was actually about double the price it'd be in a normal shop in Spain. Oh well, we'll have to come back for more :p
♠ Absinthe House ♠
I have a handful of these absinthe green drops. I’ve wrapped it in sterling silver and hung it from a sterling ball chain measuring 18”. The shape and facets of this drop really make this something special. Evoking a feeling of late nights in the back alleys of the French Quarter and the mystical mansions of the Garden District, it’s simple, beautiful and mysterious.
If you’d like a different length chain, please let me know in “Notes to Seller” at checkout.
Going through the absinthe ceremony. We didn't want to make a mess, and wanted to drip the water over the sugar slowly. The only thing we could find was a syringe... seemed oddly appropriate. We were all very intent on watching the swirlies.
