The investigation into the possible effects of cosmic rays on living organisms will also offer great interest.

2999 'Lady of Legend' gets away from her stop at Ramsbottom with the 09.15 Bury - Rawtenstall on Sat 8th April 2023.
Background Story: I took this photo on Nov 23rd, 2013 from my dining room window first thing in the morning. The atmospheric condition was a combination of light snow and fog caused perhaps because the ground was still warm. I was fascinated by this scene because it looked mysterious and beautiful, something i don't often encounter in my area. I live on Lake Ontario, Canada.

Very minimalistic photo of a roe deer in the mist from far away. I've had a shot like this in mind for a while but never got the right conditions in the right place, until now!

Beneath the majestic Pont Alexandre III in Paris, an athletic figure stands out with its graceful and determined run. The rapid and regular steps of this person propel her with an elegance that contrasts with the imposing architecture of the bridge.

Sometimes called a mock sun, formally called a parhelion in meteorology, is an atmospheric optical phenomenon that consists of a bright spot to one or both sides of the Sun. Two sun dogs often flank the Sun within a 22° halo.
Here comes my contribution to fotosöndag's weekly challenge - atmospheric.
Taken just down the road from me. Was lucky to have the wind blowing in the "correct direction" for the clouds to streak towards me. Usually only take a picture when it's foggy here to hide Restenäs island in the background so quite happy with the day's conditions and to be able include part of it this time around!

As I was hoping for a January snowstorm during my brief visit to this gem in California, it was instead a wonderful foggy morning that provided nature's magic here at Valley View along the west end of Yosemite Valley. El Capitan on the left is barely discernible in the heavily misted Valley.
On a foggy/misty November day, I decided to go for a walk up and around Beacon Fell, a local landmark.
As luck would have it, the sun popped out for a short period while I was around the summit area of the Fell.

I love to dive into forest when this type of weather comes. Not only for visuals, but for the spell as a whole. The light is doing weird things. The sound is strange. Absolutely nobody around (what moron would go outside into this???), it is like being the last person in the world.
Not had much of a chance for photography recently, therefore I am now having to post the pics that I originally had planned to bin!
Chilled air over warm water produced this evocative autumnal image. Waited patiently till the sun crept over the trees to highlight the mist. Ashburnham, East Sussex UK
