Fast moving clouds caused this atmospheric optical effect to last less than a minute. The brilliance and colors could not be adequately imaged.
Almost always what’s get me going in this passionate world is the atmosphere, the visual imaginary and then I people it with characters.

I wanted to make an atmospheric scene but even modelling the camel made Blender crash a couple of times - my computer isn't up to the task. I had to settle for a low poly scene. Realistic modelling and sculpting will have to wait until I have a better computer.
Image quality is low res too.
Another view of the atmospheric conditions on Beacon Fell, taken during a recent walk in the area.

It looks like a painting by Arnold Böcklin, one of his Isles of the Dead. It's actually a photo taken on Lago di Garda at Punta San Vigilio, one of the most atmospheric spots on the lake.

Atmospheric on the Ring of Kerry taken at Ladies View. We dodged heavy showers most of the day. It was fun to watch the rain come right at me. I love rain showers and atmospheric conditions it just makes the light so brilliant. :-)
I always love a visit to Godrevy Lighthouse and have posted lots of shots taken from there but found this shot lurking in my archives and thought it warranted a viewing! Hope you agree!!!
The road running through the beautiful Wicklow mountains was built around 1800 to help the English Army subdue the Irish rebels in the uprising of 1798. On this day it was full of ghostly whispers, atmospheric and enclosed in the mist.
Aerial atmospheric sunrise over the bay with clouds at Woy Woy on the Central Coast, NSW, Australia.

One of two images I took as I was travelling between Stirling and Skye. I couldn't stop myself pulling over and putting the 70-200 on to zoom in on both scenes.
For this one I liked the way the cloud was flowing and covering/uncovering parts of the scene. very atmospheric!
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
