The apple trees are suddenly a mass of blossom. The hard winter has resulted in more blossom than I can remember ever having seen in the orchards. Although there could still be some severe frost to kill them off before the fruit sets.
I did this a few hundred times before I got this photo. I even hit the lens and got apple juice all over it one time. I wanted to get it upright with the red facing me and the green side in the mirror. I finally gave up on getting it upright too. The apple would have been rotten by then...LOL
This is the Apple Store Perimeter after their most recent remodel. The Genius bar was moved to the back, and more floor to wall paneling was added for ACCESSORIES. It looks more like the Lenox Square store with the walls, and can accomodate what looks like 10%-20% more assortment. This store was the first in Georgia to have a Studio, but that has been scrapped in favor of more tables int he back for OnetoOne training.
My shiny new Apple TV finally arrived this morning direct from China via FedEx IP shipping. Now all I need is Purolator to deliver the HDMI to HDMI cable I ordered as well.
5th Avenue, NYC.
The street was quite but there were still some visitors lingering around on the Christmas night. There was no trouble to find a parking spot, 2 blocks away from the 5th Ave.. Surprisingly to see the Apple store in the Big Apple was still open while almost all other stores were closed for the Christmas day.

Luke Appling was known as "Old Aches and Pains", He played shortstop 20 seasons, 1930 to 1950, all with the Chicago White Sox. His finest season came in 1936 when he led the American League with a .388 batting average and drove in 128 runs. He also led the AL in Batting Average in 1943, hitting .328. He was selected to 7 American League All-Star teams. Luke was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1964. Luke thrilled the crowd at a 1982 old-timers game in Washington D. C. by slamming a home run off Fellow Hall of Famer Warren Spahn. Luke Appling Died on January 3, 1991and is entomb in the Mausoleum at the Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, Georgia.
