G and I picked 3 basketful of apples from 2 of our trees. They were starting to drop and the all the birds and critters are having a feast. I will have to get the ladder out to reach the higher ones. We didn't get very many this year due to the dry Summer, and our granny smith tree did not produce any fruit at all :(

Took a close up shot with a +2 diopters macro lens, it's a cheapo lens from ebay (+1 +2 +4 & +10 for £20) so I'm not sure it's very good. I have on order a Raynox 250 so I'm sure that will get me better results. But here you go, it's still not too bad...

Apple was all around wonderful. He was examplerary during the flight, the show and in the hotel.

He was clearly very happy to be the center of our attention and has been petted to an inch of his life.
