It took me years to learn about the famous Walker Brothers pancake house just a few minutes from my house. Their signature apple pancakes are pretty amazing. You can only eat half they're so huge.

I made two apple pies today from local apples. 11/22/08. The woven tops are so pretty and take care of steam too! Yummy. :)

They have a basket of apples at the Angus Barn. You take one and you are supposed to have 7 years of good luck. I took the whole basket....
My Beauty of Bath apple tree is about 3 years old and so far has not managed to produce an apple - things are looking better this year!
