This series of pictures have been taken using my Sony Ericsson K800i mobile phone – using the negative setting. The series was taken during a candle-lit evening (a story in itself) and have been posted unedited.
These pictures fit within three types, based upon layers of regression. The intial shots are in negative, after which I would add to my computer and photo the second level by photographing the screen. Upon repeating this for a second time I'd achieved a 3rd level of regression.
Due to the levels of regression and screen presentation I was able to reverse the negative, or reverse the positive from a previous negative - basically creating interesting results.
In the latter shots the only light is the screen light thus the surrounding areas appear white and only slight hints of the keyboard is seen.
I have added additional effects by trying to time the shutter with transitions on the screen slideshow.
I took the regression to a 4th level but the quality was getting too distorted.
autumn is my most favourite time of the year, it's all long walks in the early evening rain with crunchy leaves to step on. bonfire night and apple picking, and the air thick and heavy with fog and smoke.
I don't take many people pictures, but this wonderful lady, Susan Hurd Machamer, 6th generation Hurd Orchards, had one of the kindest faces I have ever seen.
Here she is explaining all about apples. After that we got to taste several kinds.
yeah, uhm... this thing was just twisted and weird. Thanks go to my friend (and at-the-time co-worker) Goose (yes, that's his name... well, basically), who has, let's just say, an interesting imagination. ;-)
My guess is the "UW Medicine" pencil is an attempt to help the apple recover from the effects of the decay. ;-)
I don't know what the Apple guys where smoking but they made three big mistakes:
- Telefonica logo instead of Mobistar logo.
- "Search a T-Mobile shop" instead of "Search a Mobistar shop".
- Typos: "Movistar" instead of "Mobistar".
Or maybe they think Belgium is part of Spain?
Apple is my new BJD, a pukiFee ante. It has not yet his wig, suddenly, not to catch cold, she wears the hat of my little pony Junko.
This is my Christmas gift from me to me. I'm already crazy.
