There were four Apple stores in Japan at the time. We were able to see ALL of them. This was during our first week in Japan. Akinori and Sachiko are on the right side of the screen. Bob to the left. I'm in the bottom center. Gotta love iChat and iSight! 07.26.2005
This series of pictures have been taken using my Sony Ericsson K800i mobile phone – using the negative setting. The series was taken during a candle-lit evening (a story in itself) and have been posted unedited.
These pictures fit within three types, based upon layers of regression. The intial shots are in negative, after which I would add to my computer and photo the second level by photographing the screen. Upon repeating this for a second time I'd achieved a 3rd level of regression.
Due to the levels of regression and screen presentation I was able to reverse the negative, or reverse the positive from a previous negative - basically creating interesting results.
In the latter shots the only light is the screen light thus the surrounding areas appear white and only slight hints of the keyboard is seen.
I have added additional effects by trying to time the shutter with transitions on the screen slideshow.
I took the regression to a 4th level but the quality was getting too distorted.

Apple blossoms are pretty at this stage.This is from a different tree, a Blushing Golden appletree, planted in 1970.
type of apples they are yet. The tree is about twenty years old, and is quite nice, so I guess we don't really care.
Apple Store at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. It moved to it's current location in late 2011 from across the street.
