This was built for Bricks Culture Magazine as part of my one year residency. My challenge was to create a portrait. For a full explanation for the build you will have to read the article but essentially I wanted to portray a sporting hero of mine (in motion) and who better than Usain Bolt, especially as the Olympics are just around the corner. The terracotta background was inspired by ancient Greek pottery creating another connection to the Olympics. I really hope you like this one as it is my favourite of my ‘in motion’ range.
I have used glue to create this photo however the build is possible without glue, it only needs a transparent piece supporting the groin.
I would love to hear your comments.

Here's the overview of the little brick head series. Maybe I'll create some more based on Ghost in the Shell and other anime. What characters would you like to see?

Today is the day that we consider to be our anniversary.
Today (9/28/2015) we are together for 3 years (and will stay together for eternity), but this is the only picture taken from two of us right on the day.
This pic was taken on our first anniversary, which has become a 2-yrs-old memory today...

AERC 2501 and 1866 roll into town to switch another siding. The 2501 is a former Southern Pacific GP35 rebuilt as a GP35E.
At 9:37 a.m. today Friday, June 28, 2019, as part of the demolition of the remains of the Morandi Bridge, were collapsed stacks 10 and 11 of the structure still standing after the disaster of August 14, 2018. The operation wascarried out by culling structures with the use of dynamite and plastic. This final phase completed with masterful perfection is very delicate.
I have decided not to return to the scene, adhering to the authorities' call to minimise traffic and chaos in the surrounding area. I propose some images taken from the live broadcast of Primocanale, a leading broadcaster in Genoa.

This piece falls under the "Processing Experiment" category of my portfolio. For the past few years I've been experimenting with ways to make photos taken with lo-fi cameras look more aesthetically pleasing. This one was taken with an early 2000s digital camera. I typically love the aesthetic that camera imparts, but this photo was too pixelated for my liking. So I decided to print the photo out, giving it a more analog look. I decided to make a sort of scrapbook page spread with this photo, as you can see. I'm going to be doing another processing experiment today, so stay tuned! <3
