Into marked eyelet, make five long hdc keeping ALL the loops on the hook. There will be 11 loops on the hook. Be sure to insert the hook under the 2 strands of the left side of the eyelet as you work so the eyelet will remain snug and not stretch.

Some people you just know are gonna let you photograph them. Davy Campbell was one such gentleman. He didn't even question my motive for taking his picture but I told him anyway. He said there should be more talking in Belfast and that it wasn't difficult to say hello to someone. He told me that he was a retired 77 year old who used to work as a 'plyer' in the construction industry. He lived in Belfast all his life and spends his time now caring for his wife who has Alzheimers and a handicapped son. That must be tough at times I asked him. 'Ah, sure there's always someone worse off than yourself ' he said. 'God is good'.
