On the day of 9/11 11years ago i was 19 and working in a small care home in the little town were I'm from. I was having a lunch break and wondered down the local pub for a swift half. We were sat around with the news on in the background and all i can remember was everyone being engrossed in the TV and the first plane hit the trade centre. I must admit i was not comply sure what the trade centre was. I can remember we sat talking and saying what a accident it was as the plane was sticking out the side.
Then as we were all looking on in disbelieve the second plane hit and the reality of this is some sort of attack was sickening.
When i was in NYC earlier in the year we went to the memorial site to pay our respects. It was a very moving time being there.

Am 9. November 2014 wurde „25 Jahre Mauerfall“ gefeiert.
Nach der unerwarteten Mitteilung des SED- und ZK-Mitgliedes Günter Schabowski in der DDR-Pressekonferenz über die neue Reiseregelung machten sich die Bürger der DDR sowie von Ost-Berlin zu den GÜST auf und wollten nur zum kurzen Besuch in den Westen. Aufgrund der immer mehr anschwellenden Menschenmassen an den GÜST gaben dann die Grenzorgane der DDR den Weg frei. Am Abend und der Nacht des 9. Novembers 1989 begann das Ende der Mauer und des Willkürstaates DDR.
25 Jahre später im Jahr 2014 feierte erneut die Welt den Fall der Berliner Mauer und einige Mitglieder der Flickr-Gruppe „Berlin ----------- hintergründig und anders“ trafen sich am U-Bahnhof Bernauer Straße - U8 - (Bernauer Ecke Brunnenstraße an der Grenze der Berliner Bezirke Mitte und Wedding, um von dort entlang der Lichtinstallation / der Lichtgrenze in Richtung der Bornholmer Straße (Bezirksgrenze Wedding – Prenzlauer Berg) zu gehen. Der vorläufige Zwischenstopp war auf der Norwegerstraße. Erst nach dem Abflug des letzten Ballons ging es dann über die sogenannte „Bornholmer Brücke“ zurück nach Wedding und später nach Hause.
Alle Aufnahmen entstanden an diesem denkwürdigen Tag auf der vorgenannten Strecke.

Description: Astronaut Russell L. Schweickart, Apollo 9 prime crew lunar module pilot, participates in a Countdown Demonstration Test. He is wearing an Extravehicular Mobility Unit, or EMU. In addition to the spacesuit and bubble helmet, the EMU also includes a Remote Control Unit on his chest, a Portable Life-Support System backpack and an Oxygen Purge System. This equipment was completely independent of the spacecraft during Schweickart's spacewalk. He was secured only by a tether line.

They don't tell you ... gestational period is usually 9 months PLUS two weeks ... two more weeks to go officially but feeling ready to pop now. Belly has dropped (you can see it looks much smaller on the top but if I am wearing something tight it is indecent still) and I can't stand all day any more ... I also have elephant legs which are SO bloated they shine.
For Alan No. 2. Two Phase 1 9s in the same day is pretty good going - we wouldn't be seeing stuff like this on the autoroutes...

summer- plain and simple.
so how were you guys' weekend?? mine was pretty good, i saw "the karate kid" with my friend.. it was pretty good i guess, but i thought it shouldve been PG-13. xD i liked it when the bully got ninja kicked in the face. (:
i really wish it was sunny when i took this.. but its been uber hot and humid and icky the past few days, and its starting to rain now anyways. :\ booooo.

This is the first of the former Western Region HST sets to see service in Scotland.
It is being used initially for driver training Aberdeen to Dundee.
Note the ETS shore supply plugged into the locomotive.

I feel like my best 9 really represent Frappzilla as a brand.
Fun, Playful, Bright. Little bit different and odd.
But I'm really aware that since 2017 was such a rough patch for me, that I didn't actually achieve that solid branding that I always aspire to have. I'm going to work much harder at it this year but I'm so happy that the most popular photos are the ones that I feel reflect Frappzilla the best.
I know i immediately fell off the 365, the second I got on but I've been so unwell this past week and I got a lot worse before I felt better. Today was a good solid first day back to work and I'm feeling tons better now so I'll get back on that horse tomorrow and keep posting my 365.
I'm in a really good place mentally right now. I'm in a really creative state of mind with a lot of character design and wig ideas on the brain. Although I spent it being really poorly, I feel like the few days I've had off to rest and repair have really helped bring that out of me. I'm feeling really recharged and ready to jump into all of the preorders. I'm determined to make it the best one yet!
