Moor Lane Preston. Buses running up Moor Lane on a regular basis is quite novel as no regular service has come this way since 31 December 1947 and I don't think there was anyone around to photograph the TS service back then - 17/10/2014

Then management owned Preston Bus bought only two of these Scania N94 UD 'deckers, this(152) and sister 151, PO56RSY, both being new in 01/2007. Here the former 152 is seen here making the turn from Tithebarn Street, onto Old Vicarage, after just departing from Preston Bus Station on 17/08/2023. It is operating Service 35 14:07 Preston Bus Station - Tanterton - Ashton-on-Ribble circular. It became 15407 in the Stagecoach Preston Bus fleet, then 30407, later 40407 in the Rotala Preston Bus fleet. My last photo of this bus was taken on 16/01/2009, when it was leaving the bus station, via the old exit, operating on the same service! © Peter Steel 2023.
