3rd MD Volunteers
The regiment was commanded by Colonel Joseph M. Sudsburg, a Baltimore wood carver and designer who was born in Bavaria and fought in the Hungarian War of Independence. It brought 278 men to the field.
Is it really ten years since Dad passed away? Someways it seems like longer and other times it seems only a short time ago. I wish he knew about this project, he would have been really interested.
I created a triptych last year of Dad's favourite food (see below) and this year I decided to study Maltesers by Macro! Of course this involved a lot of testing to establish if they still taste the same as they always have… they do. We raised a glass of wine as well - Cheers Dad.

03.02.10 - Saving up for something special. I won't actually save much in this, as I only collect 1p, 2p and 5p, but it symbolises (kinda) a milestone which I have reached in saving for my MSc - I have, to-date, saved enough to pay the course fees. I just need to find enough money to live on through the 12 months from September 2010!
