Today was a bit of a nothing day. Had a nice morning with N and my parents, opening more presents (hurrah). I left N there late morning and headed home to Mr RS. We had to nip to the hospital for a prescription and then home again. Missed lunch so made our way through most of the birthday choccies. Yum.

Amazing turnout for the Makeathon at 3rd Ward. Soent the afternoon scanning over 60 people, and printing as many of them as possible. I also had the opportunity to spend some time explaining how 3d scanning works, show people what's going on inside the Kinect, and answer a bunch of questions from curious people of all ages. My only regret is that we couldn't print more people.

From Canada, featuring insight

I am not familiar with guns enough to know what this is. However, I felt mildly alarmed to see this on an unassuming street corner near the apartment on the way to the shops.

An hour or so later, they were gone.

We are turning our third bedroom on the second floor into a laundry room/walk in closet. The gas dryer and wasing machine hook ups are done, just waiting for the dryer to arrive.
