Taken on a foggy snowy day in Hillsboro, OR. I've photographed these trees before but never with snow. I think the snow helps cover up all the miscellaneous photographic 'clutter' and leaves bare a very minimal essence.
Had to run to the office this morning and on my way home I swung by the beach to take a couple of pictures. The ice is off the bay but the beach is covered in ice that was shoved on shore before the wind changed directions and blew the ice out into the lake. Sun and warmer weather is in the forecast, so the bulk of the ice will likely melt pretty quickly. I've been told there have been years when massive piles of ice are shoved onto the beach and it can take well into spring before it all melts.
I hate carrying a purse, so in the winter when I have lots of pockets I'd much rather carry my little wallet. It's just big enough to hold my driver license, a couple credit cards and some cash for small purchases or tips.
Day 163 of 365.
Coming back after like three days with a photo from a senior session I just did. All these intentions to get photos, but I'm in love with the photos from this session. :)
I can't believe June is over. 6 months of this year has gone by already. 2010 is flying by very, very quickly. But I gotta say, it has been an amazing 6 months. Btw, I'm going to Maine for the next 4 days so I will be out of contact. I'll be back on Monday.
Happy 4th of July folks!
