I visited a consignment shop with my friend after brunch today. While there, I picked up this hat with ear flaps. I've been thinking about getting one to make morning walks with Rosy a wee bit warmer (and funny). I decided to try it on her too. I think we'll stick with my head....
January 23, 2011
After a long time waiting, this finally arrived today. It's both beautiful and very functional. William and I are both excited to have someplace to keep our things safe.
Now really, have you ever been quite that happy at getting $20? I'm sure that that's less than a buck or two when I was a kid, as a comic book was 12¢, bread was about 21¢, gas was 30¢ a gallon. On the other hand, a TV costs relatively about 1/10 what it did then. Priorities, eh?

Thatched cottage in Fisher Street, Paignton.
Paignton is best known today as a seaside resort, but as a settlement it dates back to Celtic times and is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. The original village was inland from the sea, from which it was separated by marshland, and was centred on today's Fisher and Winner Streets which formed the main route through the village.
Paignton grew after construction of a fishing harbour in 1847, and its development as a holiday resort was assured when the South Devon Railway reached the town in 1859.

Hiking the Niagara Glen
Which gave us a great view of the Niagara River. This was one of several adventures we embarked upon today. I absolutely LOVE this picture of William, so it was the clear winner. Many more pics of today (and all of our vacation) to follow!
Day 123 of 365.
"This is our moment."
Maybe the youngest attendee of Equity Summit 2015. What an amazing opening plenary. #equity2015

Day 44/365
Quick walk tonight as the sun had set. Looking forward to Spring when all the trees start to grow back, but there is something beautiful about the lack of leaves as well. #365project
