This is my parents golden, Opie. I raised him from a pup and then he went off to try to become a service dog for Canine Companions ... when that didnt work out he got released and returned to me. We couldnt take another pet at the time so we gave him to my folks. He is 10 or so now and we are watching him for the weekend. Thought this would be a nice chance to get a good portrait and try out a new field I have been eyeing for two legged subjects. Hope you had a golden 254
Day 175 of 365.
We all have the opportunity to write our own story.
Was really happy to work on the little details in this shot. I would've uploaded last night, but it was incredibly late. So expect another! Hope you all have been well.
An unexpected deep red sunset saw me getting my long lens and ND filter out for an ICM shot. Probably not to everyone’s taste but I like it. I reckon this would look pretty good as a large print.
Day 77
To all my friends that have been curious, this is Phil's place in France. It is a work in progress, but we are beginning to see a viable place to live. I love it. Thank you Phil for including me in restoring this place.

It never seems to stop. This was taken during rush hour in Portland downtown. Usually people in Portland don't sport umbrellas (rain-jackets are more like it) but today's rain brought out several umbrellas...and perhaps several embarrassed umbrella holders.
They say even a broken clock is right twice a day, unless of course it's a sundial under an overcast sky...
I don't understand why I didn't think of this sooner!! I have been wanting to replace my little rocker with a reading chair for my office for over a year, but haven't been able to find one I like. Today I traded my little rocker for my mother's comfy accent chair that she never uses!!! It was a win win for both of us and the chair looks amazing!

This was an idea that I had for a few years. So, I saved all of my delivery boxes, then finally built it. This photo was taken a while back, however I hadn’t posted it yet because I was mentally preparing myself for starting this project again, lol.
