Didn't have a lot of time today so was looking for things around the office to snag a picture. I have some random rocks at my desk from our adventures around Lake Superior. In a pinch, I grabbed one and snapped some shots.
Treasure Hunt #53: Rock
On the trip I was reading the latest wired mag (maybe best publication out there right now). There was a short writeup on a camera toss contest so I thought I would give it a try. You need surprisingly little velocity to get some great trails, this was about a 6 inch toss and spin in front of the xmas tree. Should have gotten a video of me spinning the d3... 350 ... wonder what it will be like in 16 days??

Plan A was productivity of all sorts. Plan B is meds and naps and Netflix and coloring drawings of cats.

Day 176 of 365.
I must admit--I was excited to take Quincy to stand in line for a Star Wars movie. Getting to share one of my favorite childhood memories with him.
This movie held promise that it wouldn't be as bad as numbers 1 through 3. And while it wasn't at the level of 4 or 5, it was surprisingly fun to watch and just enjoy. But that just might be the luster of childhood coloring my view.
And anytime you can see a movie at the Grand Lake Theatre, it's a treat.
