Day 422-My grandmother was moved into hospice last night. She won't eat or drink and it's just a waiting game now. I drove three hours back to my home town to see her today because I may not have another chance and then I drove three hours back home after spending about three hours with her. I took this photo today while my brother was holding her hands. She held my hand for around 30 minutes when I got there and was squeezing my hand so hard. It wasn't until she fell asleep that she let go of my hand. It is really hard to watch someone you have known your whole life, someone you have loved your whole life, in this state of their life. My Grandmother is 88 years old, she will be 89 on April 6th. She has had a long life, my brother told her today it was okay if she was ready to go, she had earned it.
today sucked. we went all over and got kicked out of everywhere. we went to visit what used to be ours....
