278.365 - October 5, 2013 - Ok, today was a zoo! I had to be up early to take my son to band practice, followed by dropping my daughter off at the Nebraska football stadium because she had to work at the game, then to another football field a couple hours after that to watch my son march in the competition. Then, home to watch a little of the Husker football game and then to church during the third quarter to take our youth group to a local pumpkin patch. After the pumpkin patch trip I had to immediately return to the marching competition to watch my son march a second time. Then, finally home for the day! On top of it all it was very cold, cloudy and windy all day and I think I'm getting a cold! Plus, my wife is in Colorado so it was all on me to be everywhere at once!
I took this picture of one of our youth group girls at the pumpkin patch. Her name is Bahn (pronounced Ben).
All in all it was a good day, although I don't want another one like it for awhile!
359.365 - December 25, 2013 - Merry Christmas! Had a great day today getting up this morning and opening presents with my wife and kids. Then my wife's mother came over and spent the rest of the day with us. My highlight gift was this ukulele from my wife!

I've always wondered about this store, and I finally went inside. It has to be the prettiest store, ever. It's super dark inside, but so gorgeous.
I thought Gilly Hicks was an actual person, but it turns out some yahoo at Abercrombie & Fitch made it all up. It sort of ruins it for me, but I'll still shop there.
