Yesterday we got the call all parents dread: my stepson was in the hospital after almost dieing. He is 26 and will make 27.

279.365 - October 6, 2013 - Well I didn't get a good picture taken today because I'm not feeling great and my daughter wanted me to watch "The Dark Knight Rises" with her to finish off her Dark Knight trilogy marathon for the weekend. And that took up pretty much all of my free time between lunch and having to leave for our evening church service.

So, I'm posting yet another photo from a photo shoot with my wife from a few weeks ago.

308.365 - November 4, 2013 - I wanted to play with my new soft box tonight, and since my wife was gone to a Bible study, I decided to take some photos of me with my snare drum. I've only played on one game day so far with the Big Red Drumline but hopefully we'll be able to put together a drumline for another game before the season is over!
