Happy Birthday Ruth! Tonight we went to a Teppan-yaki restaurant which was very entertaining. Here you can just see the chef in the background holding a candle.
Shot for a designer: We did 7 shots of this custom kitchen and this is one is my favorite of the day. Single flash frame lit with an AD600 bounced off the wall far left as the main light, and a speedlight BOC positioned front and left of the camera. Cloning (that tile, ugh!!!) in PS and finished in Luminar 2018 and LR. Considering adding this to my website portfolio. Would love feedback!

"Second Presbyterian Church is one of Chicago's architectural gems. Architect James Renwick designed the Gothic Revival exterior and Howard Van Doren Shaw and Frederic Clay Bartlett redesigned the interior in the Arts and Crafts taste. In addition to the original interior fixtures and murals, memorial windows made by William Morris & Company, Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company, Tiffany Studios, Church Glass & Decorating Company, McCully & Miles, and Louis J. Millet enhance the Church's interior. In 2013, Second Presbyterian Church was designated a National Historic Landmark in recognition of its Arts and Crafts interior."

This is the 2nd of a series of photographs of broken, but rough agates I collected at the site called "Tecolote" on October 19, 2009. There are nearly two sweater-size clear plastic boxes full of these agates, some broken and some whole.

D123 Leicestershire and Derbyshire Yeomanry basks in some weak winter sunshine as it waits to depart Loughborough Central with a “Santa Special” to Leicester North, 2nd December 2007.
Locomotive History
D123 was built at Crewe Works and entered traffic in November 1961. Like most of the class, it was initially allocated to Derby, where it worked express trains on the Cross Country and the Midland Main Line routes. The engine was allocated close to the Midland Main Line all its life although its last six months in traffic were based at Tinsley in Sheffield for Trans-Pennine services, after the introduction of HSTs to the Midland route. In 1974 the engine became one of the fifty engines in the class to be fitted with electric heating, and it became 45125. It was withdrawn on 7th May 1987, and was towed for storage at March on the 20th May 1987. The engine was stored with a number of others for four years before purchase for preservation. It was towed to Hull Dairycoates depot in late 1991, where it stayed for the next seven years until D123 moved to Loughborough, arriving on April 2nd 1998.
