So.... yep, I got a 2nd DD.

For a while, I had DD and Yuki. Then I decided I didn't need two girls that were so similar. I got rid of Yuki. But, I still wasn't paying any attention to DD.

So...she went on her way.

But, when one came up at a good price... for some reason, I couldn't resist.

So, we'll see how she does here this time around.

I decided I'll keep the same name for her... (sad, I know, but I'm bad at thinking up names)

So, she's Dainty June.

Ladies and Gentlemen, 2nd Sin.

My original idea was to get something like this when the lights were on at night, but the autofocus works very poorly in the dark. This was the only shot that was focused.

"Second Presbyterian Church is one of Chicago's architectural gems. Architect James Renwick designed the Gothic Revival exterior and Howard Van Doren Shaw and Frederic Clay Bartlett redesigned the interior in the Arts and Crafts taste. In addition to the original interior fixtures and murals, memorial windows made by William Morris & Company, Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company, Tiffany Studios, Church Glass & Decorating Company, McCully & Miles, and Louis J. Millet enhance the Church's interior. In 2013, Second Presbyterian Church was designated a National Historic Landmark in recognition of its Arts and Crafts interior."

Engineering crane DRA81549 stands in the yard at Rothley, 2nd April 2017.

Crane History

DRA81549 is one of a batch of ten heavy duty diesel cranes built by Joseph Booth Rodley, Ashford in 1958 - 59 for the Western Region of British Railways. Originally numbered 347 - 356 and were renumbered DRA81547 - 81556. They were general purpose Civil Engineers heavy duty diesel hydraulic cranes used for bridge renewals etc and also in the engineers yards. All appear to have worked with similar runners, converted from GWR diagram J25 Macaw H (Bogie Bolster A) built in about 1927.
