My original idea was to get something like this when the lights were on at night, but the autofocus works very poorly in the dark. This was the only shot that was focused.
The 2nd early morning line up as annotated intersected by the telephone lines across the courtyard. Took another shot 10 mins later much wider angle with sunrise glow but Mercury eluded me behind a tree! Tomorrow is another day as they say.

This is my second portrait. It's my older brother and his girlfriend/my best friend. It was their one year anniversary gift.
Isaac was much better today so he spent the morning with me and the afternoon with his grandma. I had to pop into work so I used the time afterwards for some child free shopping, and very nice it was too. The sun was just starting to dip on the way back to the car. Ah, so much beauty!

B724570 seen here at Swithland on the Great Central Railway on the 2nd April 2017 is a diagram 1/050 12 ton, five plank “shocbar” open wagon. It was one of one thousand, two hundred and forty nine wagons built to diagram 1/050 in four batches between 1953 and 1957. B724570 is from the second batch of four hundred wagons (lot 2776) built at Derby in 1956. Shoc wagons in theory provided greater protection to the load from shunting activities and traffic use in unfitted trains. This was achieved by allowing the body to move in relationship to the underframe with the movement being controlled by a series of springs. It was also fitted with a bar to support a wagon sheet which is now missing. Consequently these opens were known as “shocbar”.

Locomotive History
Originally D7603 it was part of a batch of thirteen class 25 locomotives (D7598 - D7610) built in early 1966, at Derby works destined for Tinsley MPD. 25253 received its last classified repair (Intermediate) at Derby in May 1980 which was to give it three more years service until withdrawn in September 1983. Following withdrawal it returned to Derby works but was eventually sent on to Swindon works early in February 1985, being broken up there during October 1985.

"Second Presbyterian Church is one of Chicago's architectural gems. Architect James Renwick designed the Gothic Revival exterior and Howard Van Doren Shaw and Frederic Clay Bartlett redesigned the interior in the Arts and Crafts taste. In addition to the original interior fixtures and murals, memorial windows made by William Morris & Company, Tiffany Glass and Decorating Company, Tiffany Studios, Church Glass & Decorating Company, McCully & Miles, and Louis J. Millet enhance the Church's interior. In 2013, Second Presbyterian Church was designated a National Historic Landmark in recognition of its Arts and Crafts interior."
I traded my 2013 Mini Paceman for a 2017 Mini Cooper S with all the neat stuff. The Paceman was fun but this car is not like any other I have driven, best handling, smaller and so much faster. I am not speed demon but this little car will get up and go very quickly with a 2 Litre, 189HP, Turbocharged BMW engine and a top speed of 147 MPH -;0)
