"Rocky Mountain Steel Mills (formerly Colorado Fuel & Iron) of Pueblo donated the No. 21, a 1940s-era, 44-ton General Electric diesel/electric locomotive to the Colorado Historical Society to use for backup operations and maintenance at the park. The railroad industry nicknamed this particular type of locomotive “Critter” or “Big Critter.” It pulled tons of steel ingots at the plant and operated in that capacity until the 1980s. The engine then sat idle and unnoticed in a field for many years. In 2004, staff at the plant recognizing its historic value made arrangements to donate it to the society. Narrow gauge locomotives in this weight class are becoming very rare because of modernization and the operational switch to standard gauge equipment."

A quickie while organising temporary insurance cover on the telephone, for my Son, using a Parker Ballpoint pen and watercolour washes.
Taken in August 2009. A new variety claimed to be frost hardy and capable of withstanding the winter given some protection.
Looks best if you View On Black and large.
Thanks to mijoli for the comment on the stem. I didn't want the flower floating in space but the stem was a little distracting and has been reduced in brightness.
Hey folks, it's me! :)
I've had a super super great week! :) How about you?
What did I do? Basically I wanted to study a lot for the exams to come but then I decided that it's a lot better to just have fun. :) It was so great to have Chritsin around.
Do you know that there was kids day on June 1th in Germany? For whatever reason they don't celebrate that day here in Spain, but who cares?! - We did!! So we spent one day on planning all the games and competitions and of course on buying the prizes and the other day had so much fun behaving like kids at the beach.
unfortunately Christin left far too early so we couldn't do all the things we wanted to, but we built a huge sandcastle, we ate tons of kinder chocolate and watermelon, went for tapas at the beach, we did sightseeing, we watched "my girl" and took hilarious pictures. (expect a lot of fun here on flickr)
Oh and I had one of the best evenings ever here in Spain when John Michael from the United States did a big New Orleans evening/night for us. He cooked incredibly delicious food for all of us (and we were many) plus we had a private concert.. He played his harmonica and a friend sang for us. there were also songs to join in which was real fun. and then there have been two guys playing the guitar and singing, first a Spanish fellow and then a Mexican. .. we just had a great time until the early morning.
[I know that my description just doesn't do it justice, I'm bad at describing. Please use your imagination]
An evening later there was another meal. I came home from studying in the library and there was cooking action going on in my kitchen. It seemed a German evening though. there has only been my roommate to represent the Spanish people, all the rest have been Germans. He must have felt like doing Erasmus in Germany. ;)

Tối qua bro gọi điện lúc nửa đêm chỉ vì "tự nhiên a nhớ mày, muốn nghe giọng mày"...:((
I wonder there's enough time left for all those coming back memories...:)

"When you can't think, don't try to figure it out"
I know keeping to think this way won't work, so maybe just put it aside...and let it be:)
Todays my birthday. Celebrating it with my family tonight, and I'm celebrating with friends over the weekend. Should be fun :).
Oh and I'm 21 :D.
Enjoy!

I found this box on the terrace of my friend in Genova. We had no idea what it is, couldn't open it. It is a bit smaller than a machbox. Heavy, like if it was solid metal, but I suspect that inside there is a very sophisticated little machine. One side says 20, the other 21...
