I have many hobbies but my main focus has been on learning to use my camera and photo editing software. I enjoy exploring my town and seeing the diversity within it.
Quante vite viviamo? Quanto valgono 21 grammi?

Photograph taken at 12:23pm on Saturday 6th April 2013 at an altitude of Two hundred and Four metres, along the top of the Cheddar Gorge, a limestone gorge in the Mendip Hills, near the village of Cheddar in Somerset, England.
Below is Cliff road which winds it's snake like way through the Gorge, past the Horshoe bend and into the delightful Village, and away in the distance Cheddar Reservoir, an artificial reservoir dating from the 1930s with a capacity of 135 million gallons supplied with water taken from the Cheddar Yeo river in Cheddar Gorge.

Week 21 - 26 May - 3 June
Was going through my archives this week and found this from almost a year ago. I decided to post this, because I haven't done much this week as far as photography for the week goes and I really haven't posted a nice black and white in a while. So here you go, took this in Sydney at the mall. More next week.
The quail has been sitting on these eggs for a week. Every day in
the late afternoon, when the air is warmest, she hops off the nest
and gets herself a snack and a sip of water. That's how I could take
this photo. It is hard to count the eggs visually, but it seems to
me that there are 21 now, and maybe a 22nd one is hidden. I have not
touched the eggs. This is exactly how they looked on May 1.

MiG-21 Fishbed at the Hillsboro Airshow in the Summer of 2008. Part of my new series of adding a new picture every day.
Taken in August 2009. A new variety claimed to be frost hardy and capable of withstanding the winter given some protection.
Looks best if you View On Black and large.
Thanks to mijoli for the comment on the stem. I didn't want the flower floating in space but the stem was a little distracting and has been reduced in brightness.
