Diane, Alice and I got to see Venus Williams play this night! This was a tournament at Stanford that we've gone to a few years in a row now. I've always wanted to see her or Serena (who happened to be in the stands this night) play so this was a real treat for me. She was very serious during the match, but was all smiles at the end (she won in 3 sets). So cool.

Week 21 - 26 May - 3 June
Was going through my archives this week and found this from almost a year ago. I decided to post this, because I haven't done much this week as far as photography for the week goes and I really haven't posted a nice black and white in a while. So here you go, took this in Sydney at the mall. More next week.
Ball Point Lounge
A quickie while organising temporary insurance cover on the telephone, for my Son, using a Parker Ballpoint pen and watercolour washes.
The quail has been sitting on these eggs for a week. Every day in
the late afternoon, when the air is warmest, she hops off the nest
and gets herself a snack and a sip of water. That's how I could take
this photo. It is hard to count the eggs visually, but it seems to
me that there are 21 now, and maybe a 22nd one is hidden. I have not
touched the eggs. This is exactly how they looked on May 1.

Day 21 of #AllanAugust with Minty, my trickster Allan. I really love the combination of this mint green with pastel pink hair so I’ve been wanting an Allan in this combination for a long time.
I also handmade all of his clothes asides from his shoes cuz I had a particular vision in mind for him.
