As everyone rushes about on the eve of Christmas Eve 2021, a sense of calm & of course reflection as the Customs House along the River Liffey beams with the annual "Winter Lights ", nicely reflecting in the river itself.

Ambiance orageuse depuis les pentes de la Montagne de Lachens dans le Var.
C'est d'autant plus marquant à titre personnel du fait que quelques heures avant de faire cette photo (superpo de 2 images par ailleurs) , j'étais encore en train de camper à plus de 2850 m d'alt tout en étant entouré de neige et de paysages très escarpés dans les Alpes de haute Provence !!

Quitter le taf à 15 h 30 et partir de Toulon (83) pour se rendre vers Vichy (03) 6 h plus tard était un des paris les plus risqués que nous avions pu prendre puisque la situation orageuse devait démarrer dans la soirée , en finalité il s'avérera être payant avec une des ambiances photographique comme ce coucher de soleil qui composera parfaitement avec ce cumulonimbus aux allures de Supercellule LP ( Low Precipitiation ),et ce depuis l'A89 qui nous mène vers Clermont-Ferrand (63) .
Je vous réserve une suite bien électrique ;)

It's cold and threatening to rain here today, so I decided to avoid layering up and stuck in the house today, which meant it was either another photo of Fyero (she declined to pose) or another coffee and leaf flat lay.
I should probably set up a series or albums for these photos, I feel like I'm always falling back on coffee and leaves.
Side note - is the 'new and improved' (how can something be new and improved? Isn't it either new or it's improved?? Sorry, mini rant done.) notifications page acting wonky for anyone else? It's telling me I have no new notifications, and yet there's comments and activities on my photos. I've noticed I'm missing a lot of notifications with the new method, just wondering if I'm alone in this madness.

Sun, rain, wind, snow, birds, people and time.
It's the only solarigraphy I made this year. It reflects my 2021 quite alright.
Had to venture out to Orleans this morning and well, what's a trip out that way without stopping by Mer Bleue.
I lucked out and managed to get there before the crowd, I jumped out of the car and snapped a few shots before a cluster of about 40 people showed up and scared the birds away.
I'm just happy I was a couple minutes faster than the larger group that was apparently hot on my heels.
