Allow me to present the pebble of concrete that ground itself into the back of my shoulder while I writhed on the ground, lining up the Castle at 501 Prospect photos.
Yes, it was significant enough that (1) I remember it, and (2) I took a photo of it at the time.

This photo satisfies requirement 2. I was curious to see if I could take a motion-blurred photo of various cars traveling at different speeds. By shooting this photo in shutter speed priority mode and increasing the shutter speed to 0.2 seconds, I was able to achieve a blur effect on the various cars in the photo.
Interestingly enough, the more distance a car travelled during this 0.2 second time period (in the context of the movement it has in the frame of the picture), the more blurred it was. The blurriness of the cars could give the viewer more information about its proximity to the camera as well as its speed.
To a lesser extent, this photo also satisfies requirement 1 as since the shutter speed was greatly increased, the sky was overexposed to almost a flat white.

Day 2 - I am not sure what kinda of pictures count or do not count, what I do know is that I am not a professional photographer, nor an amateur photographer. So I guess if you are interested in following my project 365 you will have to deal with my super amateurous photos.
Today I showcase a project (The Edmonton Clinic South) in which I have been tasked by my work to collect documentation for. The documentation being a measure for how environment friendly the building is for the world. Stuff like how far did the materials for the building travel to the construction site. I do not want to bore you with the details so I will leave it at that.
Also not known to me are the rules to the verbage required here, so I will go on and review a movie that I have recently had the chance to watch. Scott Pilgram vs the World. I enjoyed this movie very much, from my understanding that there are variances from the original comic books, but overall the story is there. I did enjoy the part where Matthew Patel the first of the evil exes shows up, and sings his Slick fireball song.

BDP Series 2 & 3 Entry
A charming little woodland scene, submitted as an entry to the Bricklink Designer Program series 2. I'm admittedly not the best at creating foliage, but I am improving! This entry also did not make it to Finalist, but it was very fun to create. The BDP Series contests had a hard submission limit of between 400 and 4000 pieces. I tried to create three entries with various piece counts, and this was the one with the least, at 498 pieces.
Unfortunately, the main issue most voters had with this submission was that it "looks like a basic technique one would post on Instagram, not an actual set."
Still, I was very happy with the creation of the pine trees, and someday I will try and create it in real bricks!
Evening of September 2 I drove to UCSD to find a classroom. The next class I will be taking in UCSD Extension's photography certificate program will be the first one I've taken to meet somewhere other than than Extension's on-campus complex; this class will be meeting at Mandeville Center. (I didn't want to have to hunt for the room on the evening of the first meeting.)
And I brought along my D90 in case any photo opportunities came up.
Finding the classroom turned out to be simple. As I was leaving the building I used a stairwell that had much graffiti.
This was the first of that graffiti that I saw, as I stepped into the stairwell.

I'd intended to be all tired out today and happy to spend the day reading, but I ended up with a horrible case of generalized restlessness. I convinced JMK to go up to Lynd's Fruit Farm to pick up some farm-fresh goodness, and that bounty is becoming a tasty dinner salad right this very minute.
