3.I love cuban food (I am biased being cuban-american) with italian being a close second.

I passed with flying colors.
7. I am a big sports fan. I love watching our miami dolphins, florida marlins, univ of miami hurricanes as well as the miami heat play. I am also a boston red sox and celtics fan! (no go on the new england patriots though).
8. I met Anne Rice back in 1995 at an international book fair in downtown miami. I was the only preppy kid in line. I was surrounded by goth kids. I felt truly out of place but Anne Rice was so nice (she was decked out in all black as well!).
9. I am a big kid at heart. i love watching spongebob squarepants, collect toys, statues, star wars & disney memorabilia, the list goes on and on.
10. I adore the beach. I would love to one day live by the ocean. one can dream right?

6/10 - Videos Games
I enjoy playing videos games, though I'm really bad with finishing them... one of the video games that I've actually played all the way through (twice even) is Silent Hill 2. I think it is mostly because of that reason that it is my favorite game in the Silent Hill franchise.
Another game that I really loved playing was Ōkami. I played that game twice in a row! (Though the second play through I was mainly just trying to get all of the stray beads.)
fabric wrapped tree (originally plastic coated metal from Ikea)
:10things: I change this tree every few months, this is the summer tree. it makes me smile.

#3: Long quiet bubble baths - I haven't had much chance to take baths in my new home that came with a wonderful large whirlpool tub, but tonight I took advantage of Levi working and settled into a gloriously hot bubble bath with some candles, wine, and a good (enough) book. Ahhhh....
i was tagged so if you read this consider yourself tagged as well.

9. I write lists and only get less than half done
10. I was engaged until Dec 09 but still I'm unable to say that I'm single and act like a single.
Greenery growing right up against a window is one of my favorite things. It makes me feel like I'm seeing the secret, interior life of the plant...all the intimate stuff the plant normally saves only for its closest companions.
anslatadams tagged me for ten more things! So here they are, and now I TAG YOU! (yes, that means you). This is a great way to get to know our Flickr friends better!
I spend many hours looking at maps, and planning for a fantasy move to the Southwest.
I love scrapbooking. I think it’s cathartic, and seems like making a memory more tangible than just the photo. It’s a tribute to that memory.
I adore my Ipod, and am in amazement at modern technology.
I like driving big cars, and I do it well.
In high school, I once did not even crack the book all semester long (I think it was “World Culture”) and I got an “A” that semester. Go Figure.
I have always hated math. Unless it is in the form of incoming checks.
Recently, my BROWNIE Girl Scout leader recognized me on the street. I had not seen the woman in 42 years, since I was 8 years old. I am not sure if that is a compliment or not.
Pepsi, Pepsi, Pepsi.
I have seen Paul McCartney in concert - way, way more times than you can ever imagine. It’s a long story.
I could probably live on pizza for the rest of my life. And my husband won’t even look at it!
This is a red and gold sheer silk tunic (as seen, very blurrily, here) that I bought last fall before I went to California. When I first saw it I thought it was one of the loveliest things I had ever seen. It was rich and shimmery and as intensely colored as a jewel, and the light playing through it made it seem almost liquid. I was enraptured. I bought it and happily wore it during the time I was in California for Brittney's wedding.
I rarely have occasion to wear it now, but I keep it hanging up in my room so I can see the afternoon light shine through it. The color delights my senses, and it brings back happy memories of walking the beach in San Luis Obispo surrounded by the people I love the most.
HAPPY MONDAY BLUES!
Hope you all had a wonderful day! Anyways this is a shot of the opening act from Saturday's Global Pinoy Idol. I loved how the lights were! Beautiful! The night was beautiful.
In other news I want to greet a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to crazyfrogleg [catching flies]'s aka Che. Have a GREAT BDAY!
Also I have been tagged by Valawis aka Val and Bakonawa aka Adrian.
How to play:
Tell your readers 10 things about you that they may or may not know, but are true. Tag ten people and be sure to let them know they’ve been tagged (a quick message will do). Don’t forget to link back to the person who tagged you.
1. I love the word MEDULLA OBLANGATA.
2. I seriously thought tera misu was sushi.
3. I hate the word transvestite
4. I was in two bands. First band we were called Final Delay and then my second band was After Genocide(we got this band name from a YUGI-OH CARD). :)
5. I constantly hear songs in my head.
6. I have a fear of big snarling dogs. I think it started when I went around the neighborhood asking people if they wanted to PLEDGE(they give money). Anyways I was walking to this one house(which had 2 German Shepherds) and thought they were tied up. Well suprise suprise! One wasn't and so I was standing there and it was just snarling at me. So what did i do? I RAN! and it chased after me! It was scary! I even left my red slippers behind!
7. I don't know if it was a dream but I swear it was like I could see colors when a certain song plays. There's a word for that.
8. I am studying to become a nurse and have been going to school for almost 6 years.
9. I love I love the acoustics in the bathroom.
10. I had a spinal tap when I was 5. I could still remember facing face down and looking at my parents and being mad that they weren't helping me. The pain was unbearable.

10 Things:
Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "i love you"
Birds singin’ in the sycamore trees
Dream a little dream of me
Say nighty-night and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you’ll miss me
While I’m alone and blue as can be
Dream a little dream of me
Stars fading but I linger on dear
Still craving your kiss
I’m longin’ to linger till dawn dear
Just saying this
Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me
Stars shining up above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "i love you"
Birds singin’ in the sycamore trees
Dream a little dream of me
Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me
Yes, dream a little dream of me

:10 things:
Theres this building that I love.... seriously I'm infatuated with it. Its about 3 blocks from my house... the old laboratory at the old Raymark facility. Raymark was a division of RayBestos, a major manufacturer of brake products for automobiles.
The facility is slowly being torn apart to be made into a developed business sprawl... a good thing actually because there were major carcinogens and asbestos in the buildings and ground. But the laboratory still stands.
Its such a beautiful building in all its retro architecture glory. I love everything about it and wish I could have seen it in its hay-day. I adore everything from the glass block detail in the entry to the green awning to the beautiful curved corners on all 4 sides.
Everytime I turn the corner I feel my shoulders tighten up because I'm afraid its going to be smashed in. One day it will I guess. Until then, I'm going to keep admiring it.
**Harness Boots**
Dirty, scuffed and nicked, but as comfortable as...well...an old pair of shoes. Love my harness boots although they aren't the logical choice when negotiating rough terrain on a photo safari. :-)
I've been tagged - here you go! (this is my new office BTW - all artistic like)
10 things
#1 – Most of you probably know I was born and raised in NYC, but you probably don’t know I lived in CA from 3-5 years old. We lived in Escondido, Julian, Ocean Side, and El Cajon. I was seriously blond back then and walked around without shoes all the time.
#2 – Including our stint in CA, I’ve lived in 14 different houses/apartments (other than CA - all in The Bronx or Bklyn and only 3 of them without my family). I am constantly looking at apartments for rent, and when I see a house that is empty I wonder what it looks like and if it’s available for renting. I like the change of environment you get with moving but I’ve never moved far.
#3 – I can not stand the ticking of clocks - it annoys the hell out of me. If I have to sleep in a room with a ticking clock I will remove the batteries or hide it in a drawer. I think this stems from a horrible recurring nightmare I had as a child which always began with a ticking clock that got louder and louder before the really bad stuff happened.
#4 – Not many things make me nauseous but the smell of Violets (the candy) does. I keep thinking it smells like people are eating dishwashing liquid and it turns my stomach. I have made past partners stop eating them all together because I just can’t stand them.
#5 – I am the oldest of 3 girls, all of our birthdays are on the 25th of the month. My youngest sister and I are on January 25th and the middle one is July 25th (my ½ birthday!)
#6 – I’ve studied opera for many years and at one point really considered trying to go for it full time. I then realized I enjoy having a home, cats, a steady paycheck and a life outside of the music profession. I still love it and hopefully soon I’ll be able to find a good community production to become involved with.
#7 – Between HS, All City Chorus, and College I have sung either solo or within a chorus on the following stages: Carnegie Hall, Weil Recital hall at Carnegie, Alice Tully Hall, Radio City Music Hall (acapella national anthem for a graduation), Avery Fisher Hall. I went to Spain in HS to tour with the chorus and the gospel choir. I also sang with a choir on the Billboard awards in 1995 and amazingly I found the clip! www.youtube.com/watch?v=STSSPO0vEio if you freeze it at 6:36 I’m on the top row 2nd one in – had LONG hair back then.
#8 – I love trees and swirls and I’ve always wanted to get a tattoo of a swirly tree but tattoos are forever and I fear I won’t like it down the line.
#9 – I have been a witness to 3 murders of total strangers – talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. One was a random gang thing, one a horrible crime of passion, and one insane road rage. I was never too close that I was in danger, but a witness nonetheless.
#10 – I am very calm and collected in an emergency – I take charge and can be a bit bossy. My sister once had a terrible asthma attack and my mother was freaking out so I gave my mother instructions to call 911 and wait outside for the ambulance cause her freaking out wasn’t helping my sister. She was turning blue so I held her and had her breath with me to calm her down and by the time the ambulance got there she could breath and didn’t need to be intubated.
:10 things: April #1
When my mom died on Christmas day, just 3 months ago, after an 18 month battle with ovarian cancer it was hard to make the thousand mile drive with the family down to Alabama, knowing what I'd be facing. The loss of my mother.
As we drove for almost 17 hours, my mind flashed over the years of my childhood and my adult days of going "back home." And oddly enough, the one thing that was part of all of that was this pink comb that belonged to my mom.
We are not sure of its origin. Mom thought she got it from my dad's mom (her MIL)... Dad thinks they may have bought it when they first got married. No one is quite sure. But what I do know is that its older than I am. Its combed my hair thousands of times. I have vivid memories of sitting in the floor on Sunday nights after a bath, eating grilled cheese sandwiches in the living room floor (picnic!!!!). I would nibble, we'd watch Wild Kingdom and the Wide World of Disney (70s!!) as a family and my mother would comb out my long blond hair.
I asked Dad for the comb just a couple hours after we got down the day after Christmas... the day after mom died. And it came back to Pennsylvania with me. It now combs the hair of my family. Its had long service and shows signs of miscoloring and a couple broken and bent teeth. But its my treasure. Its my mom.
You've probably seen the "10 things that require zero talent" memes on the internet. Do those "10 things" really require "zero talent?" I stand with Tom Gimbel. His 2017 article in Time, "'10 Things That Require Zero Talent' Is a Total Myth" argues that all of those "things" require talent. No matter, your perspective on what it takes to do the "10 things," I appreciate these "things" in others and strive to live up to them in my day-to-day life. This sketch is one of a series of sketches based on the "10 things" meme.
I just went through my stream and I really don't have many pictures of myself on it. So here is one I took not too long ago... Also, I've been tagged a few times to do the 10 things thing so I'll do that with this as well.
1. I love love love love LOVE kids. If I could support them, I'd have like 100. But since
I'm not Michelle Duggar and I don't have a clue how she does what she does every day
(without working nonetheless) I'll settle for six. Or eight.
2. I hate odd numbers. I don't know why. The only odd numbers I can stand are 21 and
multiples of 5. Weird I know.
3. I just slept with my windows open for the first time the other night. It was hard. It
took me like 2 hours to fall asleep. I kept thinking some guy with a beard would climb
on my roof and cut my window open with a knife and then scoop me up and take me away.
4.I'm extremely girly. Especially for a lesbian. I love anything pink. And skirts and
dresses and heels and tiaras and cute strappy sandals and handbags and sunglasses...
5.I hate wearing shoes. LOVE shoes-especially cute ones. I'd just rather walk around
in my barefeet all the time. In the summer I can walk on glass...it doesn't hurt.
6.I love pink lemonade. Like LOVE. I have no idea why. I like yellow lemonade too. But
pink is just the shit.
7.I'm on Facebook WAY too much. They should have never invented Facebook Mobile.
8.I've tried almost every sport known to man and quit almost all of them. At least once.
I've done ballet, tap (twice), jazz (twice), gymnastics, horseback riding (twice, but
I never really meant to quit the second time and I still ride occasionally .) tennis,
lacrosse, field hockey, baseball, swimming (way too many times to count.) swimteam, diving, jujitsu, boxing,
karate (quit twice, but still love it and am a second degree black belt), cheerleading, and
I *think* that's it. And right now I do ice skating(i've quit twice already) and I just
started ballroom dancing. LOVE that. Oh, and soccer. I've been playing since I was 4.
9. I love when someone gives me the butterflies. It's the best feeling. Ever<3
10.I wish I lived in the 60's...
11. I'm a firm believer of the rules are meant to be broken thing... :)
and im tagging... :-P
10 Things:
I almost gave up. It didn't look like the clouds were going to clear quick enough (and they were slowly moving out.) But just as I was about to go in I looked south-west and so the ISS moving rapidly toward me. So, I quickly setup and managed three shots.
1.Mom suspects that I’m secretly laughing at her and dad – she’s right.
2.I’m not a morning person. When dad wants to go to work he has to wake me with at least two doggy biscuits otherwise I stay in bed the whole day.
3.When I was little I went missing for a week. My humans are super paranoid because of that!
4.I have a house outside – never been used. I sometimes stand on the roof to try and see over the wall into the neighbour’s garden – no luck so far….
5.I’m still a virgin.
6.Sometimes I pretend not to be able to get on the bed… when mom gets up to help me I steal her spot.
7.When it is cold I head butt dad until he lifts up the covers.
8.I rule my extended family – both my grandma’s sends me food.
9.I get really embarrassed when I have to poo. I can’t do it out in the open. I have to find a tree or something and then I push my butt against it. Mom thinks this is hysterical. She’s a little unbalanced….
10.I’m a magician. Just have a piece of chicken in your hand. Just by staring at you I’ll have you place it in my bowl and then… Abracadabra! It disappears.
When I tag you - you're it....
Tagged by Ruth.
Tagging Virginie, Isabelle, Mary, Anne-Gwen and Eerika.
1. I'm an only child. I wish I had siblings. Lately, the thought that my elderly parents are my only family tie makes me anxious.
2. I recently got my first tattoo and I'm so proud of it.
3. I like to cook, but only for others. I don't cook for myself.
4. I've taken yoga classes for two years now. It's been so beneficial to my body and mind.

Carm was tagged by Dangeri and handsome Doc.
Ten things about Carmen:
1. Adopted January 21, 2004.
2. Our first dog as grown-ups.
3. Quiet as a mouse when she first came home.
4. Took about 6-12 months to find her voice. She has a throaty howl, a little like a hound, and she enjoys using it (so so hard not to reinforce it).
5. Strangers think she's a boy. We often hear, "What a good boy" and "Hey there fella."
6. Her full name is Djem's Carmendoll (yes, she has a full name). :)
7. Hates having her paws touched, but if she has a burr or thorn stuck in her paw, she'll hold it in the air, signaling us to come and take care of it and waits patiently while we do so.
8. Throws her own sticks and toys (sometimes at us).
9. Loves play, affection, and attention, but when she goes to bed at night, that's it. Lights out, she's out and will not acknowledge our existence.
10. Puts up with doing sit-ups, getting kisses, and being told over and over how loved she is. A wonderful wonderful pup. :)
If you feel like it, please tell us more about one or more of your pups (Janet, Susan, Kate, Sherrye, Roberta, Jani, Sarah, Rebecca, Robert, Anda, Meg, Caroline, Tansy, anyone... :) ).
Also using this as my 10 Things!!
1 - I've lived in New England my whole life. I once went to visit my brother out in San Diego and everyone could tell I was from Boston because of the way I said 'quarter', 'water' and 'lighter'. Buncha punks. Since then, I've dropped the accent for the most part, unless I've been drinking or am being silly (the latter - most of the time)
2 - I'm perpetually single. Sometimes I wonder if I'll be single forever. I just can't seem to meet that 'right guy'. Of course, I always fall for the wrong ones. Just ask my sister.
3 - My sister is my BFF. She's Jen, Jenny, wheatpennyjenny, jennytomorrow. She's crafty and we inspire eachother a lot. I taught her how to knit. She encouraged me to get my first blythe! She lives in Hawaii. It's nice to visit her!!!
4 - Sometimes I think I'm a hypochondriac; I'm constantly thinking there's something seriously wrong with me. Whether it be a paper cut, pain (that's not really that bad, but it is, but it's not) or a broken heart. Somethings always wrong. Today it's this pain under my ribs. I'm a wimp!
5 - ummmm I totally need a new camera. I have to stop buying dollies so that I can save up for one.
6 - I have an insane amount of freckles. I don't think anyone else in the family really has them.
7 - I'm half brazillian and can't speak a lick of any other language aside from English (except for some naughty words.)
8 - My favorite tv shows are the X files, the Office and CSI Miami. I watch them with my son. We used to pick on Horatio, but he's really grown on us and we like him. Oh, and the crime shows on Oxygen and WE are my guilty pleasures. Now you know.
9 - I'm really digging blythe. I love the blythe community. My favorite part is doing trades / getting sundries. I love dolly mail.
10 - I've been a Mom, as of last month, more than half of my life. I <3 my baby!
Somebody hung this on my room tubelight.. it was there before I came in, it'll be there when I leave. Nobody wants to take it off.. the day we run out of hangers, I know where to get one.
son belli i suoi occhi,

For anyone that knows me, and what spices I love, need only hear the list of ingredients to know why sate is one of my 10 things. The mix of coarse flake salt, brown sugar, garlic, white onion, coriander, purple shallots, ginger, turmeric, sweet paprika, ancho pepper, galangal, cayenne red pepper, and lemon grass fill my kitchen with a spicy sweet smell that I never grow tired of.
10 things - home
We moved in here almost two years ago, and right now couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Especially in spring and summer this place is beautifully lit by the sun, we spend nice afternoons on our balcony and generally enjoy living here. And if you wanna visit us, feel free ;)
Though we always enjoy long vacations, and it always feels weird coming back to our place, I always miss it.
No place like home.

Several years ago I had a straight job and was living with a brilliant and charming woman. All I lacked was a dog. So we bought one. A border collie, also brilliant and charming. I decided to write a novel revolving around border collies and I began spending time at stockdog trials and on sheep farms where working dogs herded large flocks. On one of those farms I was given a shepherd's half-moon whistle. I trained my dog to respond to it...go left, go right, stop, lie down, back up.
The straight job is gone, as are the woman and the dog. I never finished the manuscript. But I've managed to keep the whistle.
10 Things Making a rented apartment my own.
We had a wall in the bedroom that was big and bare and crying out for some art on it, but I didn't have anything I wanted to hang there and there were already two framed photographs on the other wall. I wanted to avoid clutter at all costs.
Then I had a brilliant idea. Actually, I had several not-so-brilliant but related ideas, and then I had this one. I had to take the picture with Ross's point and shoot because my camera doesn't have a wide enough lens, so the white balance is pretty crappy -- but you get the idea. It's not quite finished; we're thinking about adding a plane in the distance, or a pair of shoes hanging from one of the wires. Also, we have to clean the pencil marks off the wall. But damn, it's pretty looking. :-)
P.S. I know there's no sense of scale, so I thought I'd tell you it takes up almost the entire wall.
lately I have been experimenting with seeds. this is wheatgrass - and the tomcats love it, too.
I'm also trying to grow basil - and even if I really love winter, coldness, snow...I'm longing for some fresh green.
10things: fresh green!
REGALO 1 di 24! :D (e le IGPpine sanno di cosa sto parlando! :P)
Avevo già il portachiavi con la reflex...ma quello in stile vintage mi mancava! :D
ma quanto sono bellineeeee?!?!?!? *_*

It was a cold still afternoon with a hard steely sky overhead, when he slipped out of the warm parlour into the open air. The country lay bare and entirely leafless around him, and he thought that he had never seen so far and so intimately into the insides of things as on that winter day when Nature was deep in her annual slumber and seemed to have kicked the clothes off.
from The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame
1. I met my husband in a bar and went home with him on the first date. Proof that being a little loose can sometimes work in your favor...lol
2. While I've spent a lot of time traveling for various moves and have seen much of the country, until I was going on my honeymoon at age 31, I had never been on a 'real' vacation
3. I saw the redwood forest when I was 19 and it still sticks out in my mind as one of the most spiritual experiences I've ever had.
4. Speaking of the moves thing-I lived in guam for three years as a kid (told ya we moved alot)
5. I married my high school sweetheart at age 19. We got divorced at 23 and there for awhile, I thought I would never survive. Now I realize that time was one of my biggest blessings.
6. My favorite color is red.
7. I love a variety of music-everything from big crosby christmas carrolls to tool.
8. It took me 6 years to get my bachelors degree and I still owe a ton on my student loans but I am immensely proud of that accomplishment.
9. I used to manage a band that got signed to a major label. I also dated the bass player of said band and when they got their contract, he dumped and fired me. About a year later, they got dropped from their label. I really, really tried to be the bigger person about that but the fact is, I think they got what they had coming to them.
10. I think I could eat guacamole every day. Also, I make damn good guacamole.
Alright, I'm not 100% sure how to do this but I'll give a whirl:
So I was tagged by OMG.it's.LA:) If you haven't checked out her stream, you're missin out!
And I was also tagged by JoeCurtin-his photostream is awesome also so check him out as well!
When you're tagged, you write ten things about yourself that people may not know and then you tag 10 others in your photostream.
So here are the ten things:
1. I am obsessed with movies-mainly DVDs. I have a collection of more than 100 and if the CDs and left out or the cases get messed up, it ruins my day :)
2. I absolutely love animals and do everything I can to help them in their time of need. I even feel bad killing a spider in the shower so I pick it up and take it out front.
3. I am deathly afraid of zombies! I love zombie movies and all that, but my biggest fear is the earth becoming infected and everyone starts eating each other. I'd hate to have to bunker down and stay quiet. And I'm pretty sure my animals and my baby sis would give away our hiding spot. I know, I'm weird.
4. I suck at pronunciation. I can't say the word magazine unless I really think before I say it. It comes out as mazagine. My friends, especially Natalie, Jessica, and Cathy won't let me live that down. My family won't let me live down sincere-I said it as seen-cray. Another word I'm known for is diplomacy. I said it as dip-low-maacy. Michael won't let me live that one down. I'll grow out of it.
5. I'm a lefty, but I bat right. I can't kick with my right foot to save my life, so my right foot and my right hand is useless. My dad says that left handed people are "special" and just because I sometimes lose grip on objects doesn't mean that lefties are mental.
6. I have a Red Bull addiction. My mom bought me a cosco pack one time and I drank at least one a day for a while, and when they all ran out, I actually got the shakes. My mom made me take a long break :)
7. My dentist told me I have a huge mouth, but I was born with not enough room for all of my teeth. I only have 27 and won't get anymore.
8. I have saved every ticket stub from movies, concerts, shows, amusement parks, carnivals, etc. I don't have a few from Elementary days but other than that, they're all in this orange shoe box on my shelf.
9. I hate sausage and celery. Just the smell of sausage makes me sick and I've thrown from having celery in my mouth. Yuck!
10. And finally, I want to get to know you all, no matter how far away you are, I love all your photos and keepin in touch :)
Ok, here are the ten I've tagged:

Journaling says:
1. I have a lot of guilty pleasure TV habits. True Blood (I mean, c’mon. VAMPIRES!), Real Housewives, Flipping Out, Hoarders.. I love a lot of reality TV - especially Clean House & How Clean Is Your House - as well as House, Glee, and The Office. & So You Think You Can Dance. These are my only “must-see” shows, but if nothing else is on, I’ll find myself watching a lot of other stuff like Extreme Home Makeover, Supernanny, World’s Strictest Parents, & Trading Spouses.
2. I am addicted to Diet Coke.. Right now, I’m only drinking the caffeine-free version, since I’m nursing, but I prefer the version with lime. In 2 liter bottles or fountain-style only. The cans have too much carbonation.
3. I’m rather ashamed with how overweight I’ve allowed myself to get. Four pregnancies haven’t helped, but my appetite has become unmanageable and I have to take complete responsibility for it. And I have to slim down. This is ridiculous.
4. I love to blog. I’ve had my blog at Motherhood...Unscripted since 2004 and I don’t see any end to it. While I know nothing I have to say is terrifically important, it’s amazing to have a place to get down what I’m thinking about, what’s important to me & what’s going on in our lives. The fact that people are interested in reading it is a huge bonus.
5. I’m so lucky to be married to someone who’s my best friend. He gets my sense of humor, has the weirdness that I do, and we feel the same way about so many things. Plus, he’s so smart that he can tell me nearly whatever I want to know.
6. I think my best mom quality is my ability to be silly with my kids. I have no problem being big, over-the-top and making them laugh with little things. In other words, I can totally go there with my kids.
7. Probably my worst mom quality is my lack of patience. I lose it pretty regularly and cannot tolerate everybody pulling at me at once. With a baby, a 5 year old with DS, 8 year old with Asperger’s and an 11 year old girl, I’m getting pulled A LOT. And my yelling. Need to get those things under control.
8. I am desiring to reignite my relationship with Christ. I want to be a stronger, more passionate Christian, but I’m letting the day-to-day world get in my way.
9. I cannot get past my obsession with British actors. Jason Isaacs, Alan Rickman, Hugh Laurie, Collin Firth are simply irresistible to me. Their accents, their masculinity, their senses of humor all strike a chord in me. Plus, I love the villainy.
10. But I haven’t restricted myself to Brits. Chris Meloni, Mike Rowe, Matthew Perry and Alexander Skarsgård (the lone blonde) all make my pulse race. What do these celebrities all have in common? A great, snarky sense of humor. There ya go.
