18 years old, fresh out of high school and working at her first job in a bake shop. It was noontime, and all the other girls were sleeping with their heads on the cafe tables. Only Little Stream was awake. She sat with me and we socialized while I ate a refreshing iced fruit type of dish.
For the 100 Strangers Project.

Merci Maryline !

It was not the first time I saw Daniele sitting on a bench, smoking a good cigar and reading a book. Last time I went away, this time I stopped.
Daniele was extremely kind. He was reading a book from William Butler Yeats called "Per amica silentia lunae"; when I saw Daniele my first impression without knowing him was of a man of letters, and in fact he is! He worked in the past for a publishing house and now he gives private lessons of Latin and Greek. He lived in Trastevere for the first 30 years of his life. Now he moved in another suburb of Rome (quite far from Trastevere) but from time to time he has to come back for his lessons.
Daniele hadn't any concern about the 100 Strangers project, but while I was explaining it he said ... "but please tell me if the picture is going to be published somewhere!". And in fact I gave him my contact sheet with the link of the project. Don't worry Daniele, this is the only nice place where you'll find your portrait!
Thanks a lot for participating in my project and good luck for your job and personal life!

100 faces on stickers. They are for a picture I´m making. It´s not a painting, maybe I can call it a "stickering".

i found i love this film, but during the development i didn't know the fixing time has to be doubled(or will be a purple color overlay of the antihalo layer)
where the cooking happens. Jennifer found this neat camp 'buddy' stand thing at Wal-Mart, it's seen in the middle of this photo. It has a hook to hold a lantern, place for a roll of paper towels, and a horizontal square hanger for a trash bag. It stakes into the ground, and also comes with a clamp to attach it to a picnic table.

To balance the wildly expensive fruit here in Japan, I bring you this photo of Stuff I Bought at the 100 Yen Store. I spent about $30 on one trip, and got everything you see here. The quality isn't superb, but it is the stuff of college students' dreams.
Day 100: There's something magical about certain numbers. I've reached Day 100 in my Project 365. Even though I'm not quite one-third of the way through my project, I still feel a certain bit of accomplishment at reaching this artificial milestone. Triple digits baby!
