Passion Flower (Passiflora)

For my 100 Flowers Project - 2021

I was surprised to see this bloom today. I haven't seen it in this spot before. The first time I have photographed a Passion Flower although I must have seen them when I was a kid, around ten years old as my Dad had a Passion Fruit Vine for a year or two.

We walk past this Hakea Tree on the way to and from Daniel and Sarah's school each day. I noticed this morning that the first flower had finally opened, although not totally as most of the 'pins' are still folded over.

I would normally post a Wisteria image (or six) around September - October. However all the Wisterias in the neighbourhood, including this one - which is ours, have flowered for a second showing!
