I also shot B/W film. This, again, a new to me fim, Foma Ortho. It's ISO 400. I have to say, this is really nice. I don't know whether that was a suitable subject, but detail and contrast is good, as is the grain. But, here, I don't think you see the „ortho“ part...

Deltävling 1 i MellanSvenskaLångloppSerien, MSLS bjöd på spännande racing

och ett stort startfält på årets första tävling på Mantorp Park.

Sunset at Wellfleet; Day 1: Cape Cod, I've always found it interesting to see boats laying on their sides on what was the ocean bottom. You could just walk up to them and get into them, but of course you couldn't go any where. The interesting thing here was that boats weren't the only thing out there in the distance.

This photo satisfies requirement 1. I took this photo because I wanted to contrast the curvy corner of the table and the hard edges and corners of the piano keyboard. I tried to use relatively little light possible to give it a somewhat gloomy and mysterious atmosphere.

I used a low aperture to get little light, lowering my iso as well as increasing my shutter speed. This allowed me to let in as little light as possible, which lead to the mysterious surroundings of the keyboard piano.

L'església de Sant Pere de les Puel·les és el que queda de l'antic monestir del mateix nom i tampoc es conserva igual que la construcció original que en successives destruccions i restauracions ha anat canviant el seu aspecte. Sant Pere de les Puel•les va ser un monestir benedictí femení situat a l'actual plaça de Sant Pere de la ciutat de Barcelona. El monestir va ser fundat al segle X amb el patrocini dels comtes de Barcelona, la documentació més antiga que se'n conserva és l'acta de consagració de la seva església romànica, que feu el bisbe Guilarà el 945. El monestir va reemplaçar l'anterior església de Sant Sadurní, que ja existia al segle IX. De la construcció del claustre hi ha documents del 1143. El monestir va tenir un paper important en la configuració del barri que l'envolta, fora muralles fins que el rei Jaume I en va fer construir les noves, que resseguien l'actual ronda de Sant Pere i tancaven el barri de la Ribera, enderrocat parcialment pels ocupants espanyols després de la guerra de 1714. El desenvolupament de la zona es va veure afavorida pel suport dels comtes i la presència del rec comtal, un curs d'aigua que facilitava l'activitat industrial. El conjunt va ser afectat per les desamortitzacions del segle XIX i actualment només es conserva l'església, reconstruïda totalment després de l'incendi del 1909 durant la Setmana Tràgica, l'original era de planta en creu grega i l'actual és de planta basilical. El claustre fou enderrocat el 1873 però se'n conserven 10 arcs gòtics del segle XIII, són a les finques 1 i 3 del carrer Sant Ignasi de Terrassa. Font: Vikipedia

Motion Reflection

1. I came up with the ideas from a lot of different websites. I do have a focal point it’s the way that the wind chimes and the leaves move. I was trying to capture the way they move with the wind. It was not really intentional because of the way that the photos came out. I pushed myself to capture something with a really small amount of movement.

2. The photos are all taken outside. I used natural lighting from sunset. My location was in my neighbors yard. I captured the frozen / motion by messing with the settings of my camera, though some of the settings I couldn’t change very much because there wasn’t really anything that I could change it to make the photo look the way I wanted it to. I only attempted on location but, about 4 different objects.

3. I used Photoshop. For this part of the assignment I didn’t really have to do much to the photos just a little cropping a lighting of certain parts of the photos.

4. There wasn’t really a mood or connection I wanted to capture.

5. The most successful aspect of this part of the assignment was that I was able to capture what I wanted. The least successful was that I wasn’t able to capture the objects the way I wanted to. I would fix a lot within these photos. There wasn’t really anything difficult about this assignment. I was in some way able to achieve what I wanted. The motion wasn’t really difficult I think that I will fix it at another time by replacing it with another photo.

Day 1. I woke up in London and I went to bed in Iceland after hot bath and nice beer ;-)

1. I chose this toy to photograph because this was one of my habits that I interested in.

2. The lighting in this photo makes the rubiks cube stand out more.

1) I was wearing huge wedges. 2) I was drinking vodka. 3) This was at the end of the night.

Found this wall in a store in Scottsdale, I rounded a corner and stared mesmerized. I asked the shop keeper if it was OK if I took one picture of the wall. She said yes, but ONLY 1! I am so glad that it turned out :).
