Homicide Memorial for Ahmed J. Coon, murdered two days after Christmas on December 27th, 2016. He was 40 years old. He was shot here on the first block of Mohr Avenue, between Ashley Street and Grimes Street a few doors down from his house. Police believe he was the victim of gang violence. His murder is still unsolved. He was the 49th and final homicide of 2012. There is another memorial about 7 houses away towards Grimes Street, I am unsure if it is a secondary memorial to him or not.
