Flit hears a loud crash out behind Sneaky Pete's garage, she gears up and runs out to meet up with a band of noisey kids messing with her bike.

"Nice try ye little Shizznuts!!!" she hollars after them and shoots a few warning bullets into the air so they won't come back.

The Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo is classified as Endangered. This may surprise some people, as the species occurs over quite a wide area of south-western Western Australia, where they are often rather conspicuous, sometimes congregating into large flocks. They are even considered pests by some farmers when they descend onto crops of almonds and similar foods. However, their population has declined greatly in recent decades, due mostly to the loss and fragmentation of their preferred habitats, and they need the support of conservation programs to ensure their survival.

Staithes creek before sunrise is filled with the sound of noisey gulls.I don't think people get to sleep in at Staithes.

Such crazy, noisey birds..the do make me smile

Harvard trainer planes looped around our skies getting everyone excited for the Wings over Wairarapa that was supposed to happen this weekend. Covid made sure the second day didn't happen.

Taken on my 200mm lens. Fooling with back button focus I am trying to master.

Much as I'd like to be a hippy I just love watching these amazing old machines chugging around our skies. I am reminded how much of our lives is because we stand on the shoulder's of giants.

These noisey beasts were introduced in 1934 as a trainer aircraft.

Have just been out for a shoot with my flickr friend, Andrew Buck. We went to trevellas porth while we waited for the night to do some light trails. There is a little noise in the image as I have been out all day and my sensor must have got hot!

A very quick post - just running out the door to go to a fireworks thing. Will have a massive catch up over the weekend though.

Kea ( Nestor notabilis )

Noisey, nosey, addicted to stealing unguarded articles and a brain to challenge virtually all other birds of the world the NZ Kea

Once numbered in hundreds of thousands now sadly few remain due to predation, , persecution, lead poisoning from chewing lead fixtures on buildings. you name it Kea can always find new ways to kill themselves or be killed...

The only true mountain parrot in the world.

These birds have been very noisey the last few days, large flocks flying around most nights.

This is a female Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo I photographed on my recent trip to Strathbogie, north-east Victoria. The females have a larger yellow patch on the cheek and the yellow side panels on the tail feathers. They are gorgeous birds and sound quite different to our white Sulphur- crested Cockatoos.

Interestingly, I have had them fly over my home in northern Melbourne three times in the last couple of weeks. It is the first time I have ever seen them here.

. . . A new visitor at the cabin, shown here stuffing his face with corn and sunflower seeds. This male is described as a "stocky noisey finch" in the bird books, and I think this guy fits the bill!

Have a great week Facebook, Flickr, and 500px friends!

Happy Macro Monday!

The sun catches the most memorable noisey departure that day whilst standing by runway 24 at Amsterdam.

I spent nearly 3 hours today, trying to get close to this Exmoor Red Deer Stag .He had been roaring, ( Known as Bolving on Exmoor) all afternoon and eventually he came into an ideal spot and just as I focused he commenced his noisy courtship,in some lovely late afternoon light.

Unlike park deer ,Exmoor deer are extremely wary and have been hunted for centuries on the moor.

You really have to work hard to get close enough for some some decent images as once you are seen or scented by the deer the last sight you normally see is the back end of the deer running quickly into the distance!!

A noisey little gregarious duck

Fast on the wing and that is amusing to watch going about their business

Old time Duck hunters called them " Spoonies " on account of their large bills.

I have watched groups of these ducks diving almost vertically from perhaps 5000 feet in the sky and the whistling of their wings was something to behold.

He was upset that I was paying more attention to my camera than him. He's a shetland sheepdog.

Another Noisey Minor feeding from a Grevillea.

took a picture of my mother taking her pet dog "Lady" for a walk on Pwllheli beach

Rascal of the bush, Comical, noisey, nosey and just good company.

Sadly like most natives drastically reduced in range to the point where only carefully managed and protected areas contain them today.

Looking at me, hef & Cali on a walk in Talsarnau.

Saddleback ( Philesturnus carunculatus )..

According to Maori legend, when the demi god Maui ensnared the Sun to bring it under submission he was understandably parched from his labours.

He called upon "Tieke", the Saddleback to fetch water within its wattles that his great thirst may be quenched.

However the wily Tieke pretended not to hear, infuriated Maui who siezed the belligerent bird across its back with his fiery hand.....

Gregarious, noisey and very active, these birds are a joy to be around....

In a galaxy, far, far away, a Noisey Miner takes a break to survey the garden for food. My. Coot-tha Botanic Gardens, Brisbane.

Seven months on, its world may not have changed much but ours has.

Lots of Noise being made on the River today.

In camera double exposure and frozen hands

Fantail ( Rhipidura fuliginosa ) Black phase noticeably rarer version. Similar to Pied Fantail...Happy disposition, friendly, noisey often in pairs and a very acrobatic insect catcher.......( click to get a cleaner image )

Gotta love those noisey but powerful Trains!

In the rain...just love these birdies...bit noisey

To date, the Saturn V remains the only launch vehicle to launch missions to carry humans beyond low Earth orbit.

A bit noisey and not sure that the quality is that good but quite a classic

Pukeko or Swamp Hen ( Porphyrio melanotus ) Comedian of the wetlands, noisey, instusive, nosey and a skilled thief yet likeable, colourful characters often seen on roadsides...

An interesting bird in that it often nests in a gregarious manner several birds sharing a nest perhaps a way of giving protection by having many birds present as they are not afraid to confront danger accompanied by a lot of noise..

Not the best of pic's but I was taking photo's of the cat at the time and didn't have much chance except turn round! ;p

There it is again the Sky Tower but in red this time which goes quite well with the twilight sky. I had walked down to the waterfront to watch the lights on the bridge for Matariki. This was the view in the opposite direction.

I heard a great tip, underexpose your night shots & keep your ISO low so when you bring up the light again it's not noisey. I'm intrigued to test whether I can make that work! Before I heard that I took this with an enormous ISO as you can see. I really did need a tripod.

I took this photo in the Volcano National Park in Rwanda a couple of years ago. Because it was taken in near dark the ISO had to be very high (3200) leading to lots of noise which I have previously been unable to control. It was also charging towards us at speed (as they do) making the photo blured (speed set at 1/100). Not ideal. Blurred and noisey. This time I used Topaz DeNoise plus a few other adjustments including topaz glow to bring out the detail of the fur) and have finally got the photo that I wanted!
