Humility
For the past several years I've been blessed by God to serve as the chapel pastor for an amazing group of teens, (as one of the many various ministries God has led me to serve Him through) where I have the honor of communicating God's Word.

This term we're walking through The Beatitudes via Matthew 5 where Jesus Communicates 8 Attitudes and Character Qualities for Spiritual Growth as we strive live for His Kingdom and Glory. I've called the series, "Having A Beatitudes Attitude"

This week we looked at Humility from Matthew 5:5 and as we survey the landscape of our culture we see many people whose lives are not examples of those who operate their lives with humility.

You and I need to be different than the world as we should seek to be humble and gentle in a world that isn’t.
_
No matter how others behave...You be Humble. Seek to glorify The One Who gave you life.
_
If you want to experience a blessed life in Him, then you'll take Him at His Word and strive with all that is within you to live according to His Word.
_
Humility is about character and it’s an attitude you need to have to grow in this blessed life and while we may not be perfect at it, humility is an attitude and a character quality that we as follower's of Christ should live and model. Let's pray for one another that The Holy Spirit will help us live out and excel in all The Beatitudes including Humility.

May you accept the challenge Jesus has given you from Matthew 5:5 and may you seek to make Him known through the fruit of your life as you live out this and all of The Beatitudes.
