The 'Christ Pantocrator' mosaic in dome of the Catholicon; in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The dome was rebuilt after the 1927 earthquake. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem is identified as the place both of the crucifixion and the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth.

Bale - The Holy Spirit
In the old town core, beside the parish church, the small Holy Spirit church found its place. It is an early gothic church built out of stone blocks with stone pavement-slates. The interior is decorated with frescoes by the master Albert from Constance from the second half of the 15th century. Along with the usual Christological cycle scenes, Albert painted the scene of the Mercy throne with saints and coronation of the Virgin.
The 14th. century Octagon tower. Ely Cathedral, Cambridgeshire, UK. Zoomed in a bit with Fujinon XF18-55mm on Fujifilm X-E2. I think the Jesus figure in the center looks a bit Norse to me. When I first saw him I thought he was Thor maybe.

Why do you judge whether or not His work and His word are correct? Why do you dare blaspheme Him behind His back? Are these and others what constitute your faith?"

Almighty God says, "If people are to know God, they must first know that God is the real God, and must know God’s words, God’s real appearance in the flesh, and God’s real work. Only after knowing that all of God’s work is real will you be able to actually cooperate with God, and only through this path will you be able to achieve the growth of your life. All those who have no knowledge of reality have no means of experiencing God’s words, they are ensnared in their conceptions, they live in their imagination, and thus they have no knowledge of God’s words. The greater your knowledge of reality, the closer you are to God, and the more intimate you are with Him; the more you seek vagueness and abstraction, and doctrine, the further you will stray from God, and so the more you will feel that experiencing God’s words is strenuous and difficult, and that you are incapable of entry. If you wish to enter the reality of God’s words, and onto the right track of your spiritual life, you must first know reality and separate yourself from vague and supernatural things—which is to say, first you must understand how the Holy Spirit actually enlightens and guides you from within. In this way, if you can truly grasp the Holy Spirit’s real work within you, you will have entered onto the right track of being made perfect by God."

Eastern Box Turtle (Terrapene Carolina Carolina) O.C. Or Orange Crush. This beautiful little guy visited me on my birthday last year. I have never seen a turtle with such a brilliant orange before hence the name. This was another focus stack with my macro lens. That macro lens was the most prominent lens I used all summer.
American Black Bear (Ursus Americanus). Playing around with the post processing and decided to try and black out an already dark background so it would look like it was almost a studio shot. I like it. What do yall think?
North Island Saddleback (Philesturnus Rufusater). Crazy hard to shoot these guys. They are super quick hunt in coverage and are dark. Photographers nightmare.
South Island Tomtit (Petroica Macrocephala). While looking for Kea, I came across this thing. What a cool little bird with a lot of personality.
Ghost Crabs (Ocypode Quadrata). Focus stacked for 70+. Made the background come out odd but over all I like the result

So many of us wish that life could be different for us and often with good reason. In our so-called modern times there is a harshness that seems to have settled over us.
But now is the time for us to look deeply within, and find what truly matters to us, be that faith, family, loved ones or all of these things. Sometimes our daily lives might be devoid of purpose, or we feel are bowed down with responsibilities, and seeking help is difficult.
But within all this, a light can be found. We need to seek out ways that will uphold us and give us joy. Each of us is different, but letting go of things that cannot be changed is a start. This way, new opportunities can arise, that bring peace of mind.
This image was taken in Ripe Church in East Sussex, UK. I placed this Cup from my collection onto the flagstones set in the floor, and the light streamed through a window and lit up the Cup.
As with all of my images, there is no AI involved. This is just taken by me and my camera, with my chalice cup and the beauty of the light. Why would I need anything more, because the song is in the experience, as they say.
I have paired this work with Hans Zimmer’s “Chevaliers de Sangreal” which was featured in the Da Vinci Code film, which sparked all sorts of controversy and counterclaims…which I have taken with a pinch of salt…which helps to keep demons at bay after all. But the music...the music is divine.
But in the end, the cup for me is a conduit to enable the Holy Spirit to enter, or to surround where I happen to be…but I have always loved this piece of music for the soaring quality it has, the love it encompasses, and that is enough for me.
