I was completely taken aback when I saw this Egyptian Gosling while out on my lockdown 3 exercise walk. It's the first time I had taken my camera with me while in this lockdown. It is way too early and I can only hope it survives. According to another walker there are only 2 left of 9 born 5 days ago.

From a recent visit to Monkey World, Dorset, a Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre set up in 1987 to provide abused primate apes from all over the world with a permanent, stable home.

This shot was taken through a (scratched not very clean) glass screen; apologies for the loss in quality.

Have a Happy Smile on Saturday😀

John Lennon wrote this beautiful song in 1971, more than 40 years ago ... it seems that some things never change:

..And so this is Christmas

For weak and for strong

For rich and the poor ones

The world is so wrong

And so happy Christmas

For black and for white

For yellow and red ones

Let's stop all the fight

A very merry Christmas

And a happy New Year

Let's hope it's a good one

Without any fear...

Another older image that was taken while on a trip to Isreal. This is the church of the Holy Sepulchre where the body of Jesus Christ was taken and placed into a tomb. Today was the Feast of the Three Magi or the Three Kings also known as the Epiphany. I thought this image was a good symbol of light and hope for the new year.

Es gibt berechtigte Hoffnung auf einen Corona Impfstoff in baldiger Zukunft.

Das ist ein echter Lichtblick in diesen dunklen Tagen.

Drücken wir die Daumen!

There is legitimate hope for a Corona vaccine in the near future.

This is a real ray of light in these dark days.

Let's keep our fingers crossed!

...on another beautiful day...

I hope on another beautiful next year for all of you...

Thank you so much to all Flickr friends for wonderful friendship.

I send my best wishes for 2009 full of peace, serenity, love and health.

Five days ago, 4 confirmed cases of Covid-19 came to my clinic for medical treatment. Therefore, I was quarantined at home for 14 days. Today is the fifth day. Fortunately, my virus test was negative. Take care my friends.

FFF+ Snap Happy is a group for FFF images that reflect positivity, happiness, joy and beauty only. Jette jettebaltzer chose the theme Shadows for this weeks challenge.

On the way up to Winton Wetlands last week, we took a detour after seeing fog in the valley. The fog was actually so thick, it was difficult to see anything and it wasn't lifting anytime soon.

This scene caught my eye as the sun filtered through the gum trees and the fog, creating stark shadows on over the gravel road.

I hope to catch up with everyone's images over the next few days.

can you feel it?

The lowest of the 3 Sisters shrouded in early morning sunlit clouds.

"The 3 peaks are known individually as Big Sister (Faith), Middle Sister (Charity) and Little Sister (Hope). The three peaks were originally named "The Three Nuns" because they were thought to resemble three praying nuns after a veil of snow was left on each after a storm. They were officially designated as the Three Sisters in 1886." wiki

Have a wonderful week!

It’s a hard time of year for many people, some will be lonely and the dreary weather can be depressive, so here’s a picture of summer, a time of warmth and feel good to look forward to.

I, I hope she makes you smile

The way you made me smile

On the other end of a phone

In the middle of a highway driving alone

Oh, baby, I, I hope you hear a song

That makes you sing along

And gets you thinking 'bout her

Then the last several miles turn into a blur, yeah

I hope you both feel the sparks by the end of the drive

I hope you know she's the one by the end of the night

I hope you never ever felt more free

Tell your friends that you're so happy

I hope she comes along and wrecks every one of your plans

I hope you spend your last dime to put a rock on her hand

I hope she's wilder than your wildest dreams

She's everything you're ever gonna need

And then I hope she cheats

... Like you did on me ...

“Color directly influences the soul. Color is the keyboard, the eyes are the hammers, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key or another purposively, to cause vibrations in the soul.”

The Cathedral of the Transfiguration is a Catholic Byzantine house of worship named in honour of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ. The land on which the Cathedral stands was donated by the late Stephen Roman which "he built as a beacon of religious freedom". The Cathedral was modeled on a church in Novy Ruskov, the Slovak village where Mr. Roman was raised. Its cornerstone and altar stone were blessed by Pope John Paul II during his 1984 visit to Canada, marking this the first time a Roman Pontiff consecrated a church in North America.
