PALM BAY, Cliftoville Kent, a area along the cliff tops, mainly for dog walks, runners ect, with the councils policy to let the grass areas go wild, is a sheer delight, the area is now filled with wild flowers, and tall grasses bees and butterfly's, house sparrows galore. Also a lot of meadow pipits, many with food for the youngsters in the long weedy areas, shows just how a small policy change has brought so much life to a area not known for it.

Just thinking about stuff and engaging in escapist/diversionary exercises with the egg image. I came up with a few things, this is one of those things. I almost added it to my series of things that make no sense but hope does make sense so I didn't add it. There's plenty of things that don't make any sense so I'm not worried. Another older image that was taken while on a trip to Isreal. This is the church of the Holy Sepulchre where the body of Jesus Christ was taken and placed into a tomb. Today was the Feast of the Three Magi or the Three Kings also known as the Epiphany. I thought this image was a good symbol of light and hope for the new year.

I've been away from Flickr for a while as it's 'that time of year' at work and I also hadn't really used the camera for a while. But the terrible happenings over the last week or so in Ukraine, combined with rising gas and electricity prices, never-ending Winter and the misery of Covid uncertainty still hanging around, made me want to get the camera out and create something nice. Spring flowers always make me feel hopeful, even when the world is in such a mess.
Thinking today of our fellow humans in Ukraine. Utterly heartbreaking that this situation can still occur in 2022.

This is a Nasturtium flower about 1 inch in length. Taken late morning at the Melbourne Botanical Garden. It was in the shade and the dew drops are still present.

The end hope in the top rocky mountain - the day is a adventure trip this a big cave among hard nature and natural view area this photo is a hdr shooting wide view - in south Kurdistan .
All other tasks were done mindlessly, because their focus, their only purpose, was to wait to hear something, anything
Overall it was a really great experience, the wait for the spot to be empty was incredibly worth it!

A layer of cloud had been sitting on the summit of Ben Hope all day but we had hope-d (pun intended) it would lift by the time we got to the top. It didn't. Still, nice views on the way up looking over Loch Hope, Loch Eriboll and out to the Atlantic.
Even in a world of sorrow and pain, flowers bloom and fill us with peace and hope.
