Still having a tropical Autumn here, with air saturation very high, giving a lovely, wet fog early this morning.
Lots of dew on yet another explosion of frangipanis.

ALTHOUGH it is rather nondescript the corn bunting does have a distinctive song. It dangles it legs when flying short distances, and just look at its nails, they are very approachable with extreme care, I love seeing them at the Ancient Highway Sandwich Kent.

Evergreen Clematis is blooming in my garden in spite of being heavily damaged by last winter's harsh cold snap. Hopefully it may eventually return to its former glory.

Just thinking about stuff and engaging in escapist/diversionary exercises with the egg image. I came up with a few things, this is one of those things. I almost added it to my series of things that make no sense but hope does make sense so I didn't add it. There's plenty of things that don't make any sense so I'm not worried. Captured on that fabulous August bank holiday weekend, weather and light like this seems a distant memory at the moment.
A 9 shot pano stitch to take in the lead in fence and the stile by the famous gate on the great ridge at Mam tor and of course everything in-between, including the beautiful inversion.
This morning's sunrise is all about hope. No matter how bad the situation theres always help & people who will listen.
Pieta House is a voluntary organisation that's helps people that are feeling down & depressed. Its a totally self funded charity.
Given the current situation charity's now more than ever need our help.
Normally today would see thousands of people all over Ireland out for the sunrise walk,but bacause of the Covid pandemic this wasn't possible.
So I'm appealing to everyone that can donate please remember Pieta House.
Theres always light at the end of the tunnel.

I've been away from Flickr for a while as it's 'that time of year' at work and I also hadn't really used the camera for a while. But the terrible happenings over the last week or so in Ukraine, combined with rising gas and electricity prices, never-ending Winter and the misery of Covid uncertainty still hanging around, made me want to get the camera out and create something nice. Spring flowers always make me feel hopeful, even when the world is in such a mess.
Thinking today of our fellow humans in Ukraine. Utterly heartbreaking that this situation can still occur in 2022.
