Natural Grocers Vitamin Cottage Now Carries Green Duo
Natural Grocer's Vitamin Cottages have carried Pines Wheat Grass longer than any other natural food stores. They will soon carry Pines new product, Green Duo, a nutrient-dense blend of wheatgrass and alfalfa. Like all Pines products, Green Duo provides the dark green leafy vegetables the Centers for Disease Control say are lacking in 90% of diets. #GreenDuo is an economical and convenient way to increase your dark green, leafy vegetables.
Pines became the original #greensuperfood company when it introduced of #PinesWheatGrass in 1976. Our first customer was the co-founder of Vitamin Cottage, the late Margaret Isely. She brought #PinesWheatGrass into her store. Over the years, her family expanded Vitamin Cottage Natural Grocers to more than 130 stores in 19 States that carry Pines.
Pines is the only company that packages in earth-friendly amber glass bottles with special metal caps that allow removal of oxygen. That prevents the loss of nutrition that occurs with plastic tubs. It also prevents contamination from fossil fuel used to make plastic containers. Although it is difficult for stores to avoid carrying plastic, Natural Grocers offer a glass bottle alternative for most supplements they sell.
